Just in time for Halloween, Airbnb has unveiled the world’s ‘spoorest’ Airbnb rentals, from a haunted house in America’s Deep South to a beautiful Irish castle inhabited by an abandoned ghost.
“Come in if you dare… these stays are sure to enchant you,” says Airbnb.

The Haunted Room at Talliston, Great Dunmow, Essex, UK

“Talliston House and Gardens was once an ordinary house on an ordinary street, but has now been transformed into a Gothic wonderland by owner and host John,” says Airbnb.
It notes that the ‘ghost bedroom’ in the property, which is available to rent on Airbnb, is ‘decorated in the style of an Edwardian nursery, complete with books, toys and ephemera’.

Ross Castle, Oldcastle, Meath, Ireland

While it may look a little creepy from the outside, the interior has undergone a “beautiful” restoration, Airbnb says. It sleeps up to five guests with extras such as home baked goods, a roll top bath and a reading room in the church bell tower.
