Ben Higgins takes wife Jessica on Bachelor Mansion Bathroom Tour

Ben Higgins‘ woman, Jessica Clarke Higginshad never seen his season The Bachelor before they got married, but now she gets a look behind the scenes.

“When he told me he was going to give me a tour of the Bachelor Mansion, I didn’t know that was what he meant,” wrote Jessica, 26, captioning a TikTok video on Friday, December 1.

In the clip, Ben, 34, gave her a tour of all the bathrooms in the Los Angeles residence where the Bachelor education And Bachelor party participants per season.

“The first one is … usually closed with a sheet or a rug so it’s never used,” says Ben, who starred in season 20 The Bachelor, joked. “It’s very clean, very private. The only unfortunate thing is that there are 25 women there [in the living room]it’s going to be weird.”

Then Ben took Jessica to the “only bathroom we could use” – much to her horror. He later clarified that there is actually a second bathroom upstairs that participants can use to relieve themselves.

“Think about this, you have two bathrooms for all these people,” he explained to his wife. “Isn’t that strange? [This second one] is infamous, it is filmed a lot. Many people [have been in] the bath in front and the shower.”

Ben pointed this out during his period Kaitlyn Bristoweseason 11 of The bacheloretteboys would ‘shower with several people at the same time’ to save time.

The Bachelor Mansion also has a “secret” bathroom on the top floor – which contestants are generally unable to use. According to Ben, production used the facility to store camera equipment.

‘They never lock it. This door would be closed, full of cameras [and] things,” he added. “I spent so much time here, just sitting here [on the toilet] just thinking about life, thinking about what I would do next or if I would go home tomorrow.

He continued: “I sat here as long as I could and counted the tiles [on the wall] just to distract myself.”

Ben was one of Kaitlyn’s suitors The bachelorette in 2015. After being eliminated after the eighth week, he was chosen to manage the following season The Bachelor. Ben is engaged Lauren Bushnell Lane during its season finale, which aired in 2016. They broke up a year later.

Bushnell Lane, 33, eventually moved on to become a musician Chris Lane, with whom she shares two sons, while Ben found love with Jessica. After landing in the beautician’s Instagram DMs, Ben and Jessica tied the knot in November 2021.
