Big Brother fame’s Fern Britton injured her head after colliding with Nikita Kuzmin during Wednesday’s chaotic task.

The housemates were divided into two teams to compete against each other in Pops Off, where they had to try to burst the other team’s balloons.

Zeze Mills, Marisha Wallace, Bradley Riches and Fern made up the yellow team, while the red team consisted of Nikita, David Potts, Colson Smith and Louis Walsh.

When the game started, Fern and Marisha ran to the bedroom and tried to stop Nikita, but Fern ended up hitting her head on the ottoman in the middle of the room.

They were forced to pause the game when Big Brother asked someone to help Fern to the Diary Room, where she rested, was checked by a medic, and then served the rest of the task.

Nikita was angry with himself for becoming ‘too competitive’ during the game, and when Big Brother assured them that Fern was fine and asked them to continue playing, he was not enthusiastic.

Nikita said, “You can ban me, I don’t care because I don’t play this game, it’s a stupid idea, whoever organizes this, you’re better than that.”

Big Brother responded: ‘Housemates, the game started at a breakneck pace, you don’t have to play it like that, you can play it at your own pace.’

It comes after it was revealed that only five housemates will make it to Friday’s final of Celebrity Big Brother, as another shocking twist was announced in Tuesday night’s episode.

Following the double eviction of Marisha Wallace and Zeze Millz, hosts Will Best and AJ Odudu revealed that despite there being six contestants left, only five would be in the final as a shock eviction will take place on Wednesday night.

The vote to save is frozen and the celebrity with the fewest votes is kicked out two days before the grand finale.

Some viewers were less than impressed with the latest in a long line of twists in this series, with one tweeting: “So a housemate gets a backdoor eviction without an audience.”

‘I love Big Brother, which I’ve watched since 2000, but this celeb version has had too many twists. The entire series lasted just under three weeks. There weren’t as many twists and turns in the six-week civilian series last year.”

Another agreed, joking: “Another eviction twist. This series is produced by M Night Shyamalan.’

Louis Walsh, David Potts, Fern Britton, Colson Smith, Bradley Riches and Nikita Kuzin remain in the competition.

Marisha Wallace and Zeze Millz became the last two stars to leave the house during Tuesday’s double eviction.

The couple received the fewest number of public votes and left the show after viewers voted to save Fern Britton and Nikita Kuzin.

Marisha and Zeze were both cheered by the crowd as they left the iconic house and headed to the Late & Live studio for their first interviews.

Marisha spoke about the huge argument she had with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu last week over personal nominations: “I didn’t know what to say at that moment. I didn’t know how to word it.

“After that happened, we talked about it, we cried like babies over a teddy bear. I have trust issues and sometimes when someone is close to me I think: why are you so close to me?

‘I was very apologetic. It wasn’t just about the nomination at this point. I think Ekin-Su has been through a lot in her life, I think she has been betrayed many times… I know what that feels like, to know that a friend has betrayed you.’

On Monday it was announced that Fern, ZeZe and Marisha would be the next housemates to participate in the public vote.

They were joined by Nikita, 26, who bravely stepped forward and volunteered to take the nomination for the killer, setting himself up for deportation, in Sunday night’s episode.

The Housemates learned during Monday’s episode that Fern, 66, ZeZe, 34, and Marisha, 38, all received the most nominations.

David Potts, Fern, Colson Smith and Bradley Riches nominated Marisha, while Fern received four nominations from David, Colson, Nikita and Marisha, ZeZe received three nominations from Louis Walsh, Nikita and Bradley.

Louis has become the bookmakers’ favorite to win Celebrity Big Brother.

The Irish music manager and television personality, 71, has sparked controversy with his cutting comments about a host of household names while in the house.

But it seems the crowd appreciates his honesty and humor as he is now backed to go all the way in Friday’s final.

It comes after a twist in Monday night’s show ensured Louis would go straight through to the final.

One bookmaker now thinks he is the one to beat, with the latest odds from BetVictor Casino giving him 2/1 to win, leaving Strictly’s Nikita Kuzmin behind who was the previous favourite.
