Cleaning between the glass of your oven door is much easier with my tape trick

A CLEANING expert has told how she gets into the nooks and crannies of her oven.

With the help of a little tape she was able to easily clean between her oven glass.

Brogan (@nottheworstcleaner) shared her cleaning trick in a video with her TikTok followers.

“How to clean between your oven door glass! One of my best cleaning tips that makes this SO easy,” she said.

“I see so many videos that make it all too complicated. It's a matter of working smarter, not harder.”

She explained that two screws at the top of the oven door held everything together, including the handle, so she started by taping the oven door and handle.

“There is a huge struggle at the end to get the door and handle back in line for the screw,” she said, noting that the tape would eliminate that.

“Before I remove the screws on the top, I make sure to tape both sides, making sure to tape the glass, handle and around the inside.

“The moment you release those screws, it immediately wants to pop out.”

Once the screws were out, she removed just the part of the tape on the inside and carefully lifted the inner door.

Using a glass cleaner, she wiped the glass and a disposable crevice cleaning tool to remove grease.

When the oven glass was thoroughly clean, she lowered the glass again and tightened the screw again.

“Luckily, thanks to the tape, it's very easy to do and there's no effort,” she said.

People said that although her tip was extremely useful, they were reluctant to learn it.

“I don't want to learn how to do this because if I do, I'll have no excuse not to clean it,” one commenter joked.

Some shared their own innovative methods for “keeping the oven clean.”

“I just hang three towels there so no one can see the glass. Beautifully done,” said another.
