RISHI Sunak today met with concerned British families of Israelis taken hostage during Hamas' horrific attack in Israel on October 7.

The Prime Minister described the kidnapping of innocent civilians by the terrorist group as an “unthinkable horror”.

He vowed that Britain would do everything it could to get the hostages home to their families – more than 120 days after the October massacre.

Sunak met with the sister of a British hostage currently held in Gaza and the aunt of another.

And he spoke to the friends and family of two other hostages with ties to Britain.

Sunak wrote of X: “It is an unthinkable horror to have a loved one held hostage by terrorists.

“Today I once again met British families who are still going through that harrowing ordeal.

“We will continue to do everything we can to bring home safely the hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.”

The Prime Minister in December demanded the immediate release of all women and children still held by Hamas.

In the latest conflict between Israel and the terror group – which broke out last year after Hamas's morning ambush – hundreds of civilians have been taken hostage.

During a After a brief ceasefire, dozens of captured civilians were released in November by Hamas.

One of them was Emily Handan Irish-Israeli girl who turned nine while trapped in the terror group's Gaza tunnel network.

Her father Thomas talked about how his little girl is still scarred by her experience and has to use special code words to talk about what she has experienced.

But British citizens and people with links to the United Kingdom are still believed to be held there.
