Denise Richards discourages Sami Sheen from getting breast implants

Denise Richards opens up about her feelings toward her daughter, Sami Sheen, who wants breast implants.

“I’m trying to talk her out of it because, and the reason why I’m talking her out of it is because I didn’t know how toxic [they are] when I was 19,” Richards, 52, said Rush. “And it is not an easy operation. It is painful!”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, who plans to remove her own breast implants, had hers done at the same age as her daughter, 19, whom she shares with her ex-husband Charlie Sheen. (The two, who called it quits in 2006, also share daughter Lola, 18.) “As a teenager I was made fun of [because my boobs] They were mosquito bites,” she said.

For Sami, who has been ordered to quit vaping before getting D-cup breast implants, plastic surgery has been on her wish list for years. “I was ten years old and said, ‘I can’t wait to have big boobs like my mom.’ All my friends were getting boobs and I was like, ‘Okay, when’s my turn?’ I used to stuff my bra with socks and stuff,” she said.

At first, Sheen, 58, told me We weekly that he was not involved in this career decision. “This didn’t happen under my roof,” he said Us at the time. “I don’t condone this, but since I can’t prevent it, I urged her to keep it classy and creative and not sacrifice her integrity.”

Since this statement, the Two and a half Men alum told Rush that he has changed his position. “I had a knee-jerk reaction to it because of the reputation that preceded it. I was like, ‘Oh, this can only end badly,'” he explained. “That goes against my normal approach to things, but I think if your child is involved, it’s a whole different alternative altogether of circumstances.”

He continued: “She is doing this and it can only be a much more successful and enjoyable experience with the support of myself, her mother and others. I have to have faith and just know in my heart that all her virtues and everything wonderful that is her, her, goes with her. I believe she is incorruptible.”

For her part, Richards wasn’t entirely on board with her daughter’s career at first either. But now she has changed her tune and even launched her own channel.

In July 2022, Richards explained her decision to support Sami Us. “My parents have always supported my career and they did not judge me for the decisions I made when I was working and starting out as an actress,” she said. “I think it’s important – whatever my daughters do – to support them no matter what. I want them to feel empowered and [to be] empowering them… and that is something that I find very important and something that I will always support.”
