The mother of Princess Beatrice’s stepson impressed her followers this week by sharing a clip of Wolfie Mapelli Mozzi working on a painting.

Dara Huang, a Harvard-educated architect who runs her own design firm and is the mother of Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s six-year-old son Wolfie, posted clips on her Instagram account.

The video showed the little boy applying black lines and a touch of blue paint to two canvases lined with black and gray lines signed “Wolfie.”

Princess Beatrice’s stepson completed the painting for a charity project, and his mother proudly named him “Baby Picasso.”

Wolfie enjoys life away from the royal spotlight and usually stays out of royal events apart from family celebrations.

In one of the clips, the six-year-old can be seen adding back lines to a beige canvas, while his mother congratulates him and tells him she “loves” the painting.

In another, Wolfie puts on an animated rendering as he explains the composition of another painting to his mother.

The artwork consists of a black rectangle, a stripe of blue and white paint and a grayish square at the bottom.

“That looks pretty nice,” you hear Dara, who is filming, say.

Pointing to the black block and blue line, the six-year-old said he likes his painting, despite it being “not really colourful.”

His mother then disagrees, saying his painting is “quite colorful” thanks to the line of blue and white.

Another fun clip shows Dara hard at work in her study, while Wolfie sits on the other side of the desk enjoying a plate of pasta.

Dara was born in the US in 1983, the daughter of a businesswoman and a retired NASA scientist who had emigrated from Taiwan.

Dara started dating Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in 2015 and got engaged to him in 2017.

She previously shared how it was “love at first sight” with Edo, telling Lifestyle Asia, “He was the father of my child and he left as quickly as he came so I would say it’s not instinct unfortunately is that you can trust! ‘

The couple’s social media accounts reflected a glamorous life of international travel until their son was born in 2016.

Despite the couple breaking off their engagement in 2018, they have remained on good terms and continue to co-parent Wolfie.

It was reported that Edo and Dara continued to live together for weeks after he began a relationship with the Queen’s granddaughter.

However, a close family friend of Edo’s stated that the couple had split six months earlier.

When news broke that Edo was engaged to Princess Beatrice, Dara told MailOnline, “I wish the best for Edo and Beatrice and look forward to uniting our families.”

Beatrice has since reportedly welcomed Dara into her life and assumed the role of stepmother to Wolfie.

Last year, Wolfie made a surprise appearance at the concert to mark the late Queen Elizabeth’s Jubilee in London.

He was also present at the Royal Family’s Christmas walk in Sandringham last December.
