Not only are they entertaining, but they also shed light on how our brains interpret visual data.

Psychologists from the University of Glasgow discovered that staring at an optical illusion can improve vision by allowing you to see small print.

This illusion is made particularly difficult by the varying shades of vibrant colors in the background.

The crashing waves, lush greenery and sandy beaches provide the perfect camouflage for the sneaky animals, as our eyes find it difficult to focus on the abundant variety and difference.
