Glen Powell, Sydney Sweeney Search for new Rom-Com after everyone but you
Glen Powell And Sydney Sweeney are looking for their next romantic comedy after the success of Everyone but you.
Powell, 35, revealed to Variety at the 2024 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Saturday, February 24, that he and Sweeney, 26, were already reading scripts for their next romantic venture. “When you find someone you really work with, Sydney is so easy to work with and so much fun. We’re definitely trying to find the next thing,” said the Top Gun: Maverick actor explained.
“Please send us any scripts you have,” Powell continued. “You know we’re here for it. It was really great to read a lot. By the way, Sydney reads everything, and in record time. She’s the fastest reader I’ve ever met, I think. It takes a little longer, but we read everything and just try to see what makes sense, what we can turn into something that the audience will respond to.
Earlier this month, Sweeney hinted at future projects with Powell when asked about a potential Everyone but you continued, but she did not provide specific details. “I can’t actually reveal all my secrets,” says the Euphoria star said E! News on February 12.

However, she vaguely confirmed that she was “in discussions with [Powell] this morning” and that they “talked about things.”
When asked for more information, Sweeney responded, “You never know, you’ll have to wait and see.”

Sweeney, who co-produced the film with his fiancée Jonathan Davinocelebrated the previous milestone of $100 million worldwide on January 22, one month after the film’s theatrical release on December 22, 2023.
