A SKINCARE fan has spilled her step-by-step routine for keeping facial flakes at bay.
She said her three products keep her skin glowing, but warned about a common mistake.
Dana Jill Flaherty (@danajillflaherty) filmed herself detailing the routine in a video on TikTok.
The clip was in response to a commenter who wrote: “Irrelevant but how does your skin always look so glowy? Tell me.”
“I lovingly call it the 'trifecta,'” she said of her regimen.
She said she does her routine twice a day, except for the cleansing, which she only does at night.
“So I do the Dial Antibacterial Hand Wash. I love the smell of white tea. This is my cleanser. I would take my makeup off sometimes,” she said of the hand soap.
“You have to double cleanse if you have a pie face. She's the chef's kiss,” she added.
The Dial Antibacterial Hand Wash in White Tea retails at Walmart for $2.47.
“Then I go in with my retinol, that is Neutrogena Retinol Pro. I started with the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair in the jar.

'Work towards [Neutrogena Retinol Pro]work on retinol,” she warned of the product, which sells for $38.99 at Target.
“It burned. I flaked like a snake. I got pimples because I was purging. It wasn't bueno.
“I wanted to go back home, but I persevered, and I'm glad I did,” she added.
She also used an unconventional product to moisturize her face after cleansing and with retinol.
“For my moisturizer, I use Gold Bond. I go back and forth between [Diabetics Dry Skin Relief Body Lotion] and another Gold Bond,” she said.
Gold Bond's Diabetic Body Lotion for dry skin goes for $11.79 at Target.
She added that the routine has worked well for her so far and that she sees improvements daily.
“I had hormonal acne. I had terrible skin texture. My makeup wouldn't stay on my face,” she said.
“I'm 36, terrible. I'm just saying it works, and it works for a lot of other people too,” she added.
