But a team led by Pramila Patten, that of the UN representative for sexual violence in conflict, spoke to witnesses and survivors and found that sexual assaults occurred in at least three locations, including the Nova music festival site.

The report also concluded that there was “clear and convincing information that sexual violence, including rape, sexualized torture, cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment” had been committed against hostages.

Investigators also had “reasonable grounds to believe that such violence may be ongoing.”

But Hamas said many had lost sight of it.

Spokesman Basim Naim said: “It is now impossible to know exactly who is alive and who has died as a result of the Israeli bombardment, or because of starvation caused by the blockade.

The sun says

SINCE the horrors of October 7, the United Nations has not been a friend of Israel.

Even before these atrocities, far more resolutions condemning this liberal democracy were passed than in the most vile dictatorships in the world.

And the Gaza personnel are so close to the Hamas terrorists some are actually Hamas terrorists.

So it is startling to hear the UN admit that it now has “convincing information” that Jewish hostages in Gaza have been raped and sexually tortured and that Hamas gang-raped victims on October 7, some of whom were already dead.

What about the pro-Hamas left now?

To avoid siding with the rapists, they have always pretended that these heinous crimes did not happen.

We will not hold our breath for any contrition.

Meanwhile, the hate protesters of the “Palestine Solidarity Campaign” are loved by some Work MPs, invite a notorious plane hijacker and October 7 denier to speak at their next fundraiser.

The disease of the hard left: apologists for racism, rape and terror.
