A PIE heir will go on trial this summer, accused of stabbing his housemate to death on Christmas Eve.

Thomas – the grandson of pie and property magnate Sir Stanley Thomas and heir to a £230 million fortune – has been charged with murder.
A trial expected to last two weeks was set for June 5 by Judge Tracey Lloyd-Clarke, the Registrar of Cardiff.
Thomas was not present at the Newport Crown hearing Court Today.
He was taken into custody in his absence ahead of further questioning.
An inquest last month revealed how William died from multiple stab wounds on the neck and body.
Police were called to the car park after reports of a 'stabbing incident'.
Paramedics tried to save his life by giving the keen rugby player CPR until he was taken to hospital.
Area coroner for South Wales Dispatcher Patricia Morgan suspended the entire investigation pending the “ongoing investigation.”
In a tribute, William's family said: “Our beloved Will was taken from us in such a cruel and indescribable way.
“Will was such a loyal, funny and caring son, brother and friend.”
William, who worked as a surveyor at a commercial property company, and Thomas previously attended the private Christ College in Brecon.
They lived together in a house jointly owned by Thomas's grandparents Welsh rugby star Sir Gareth Edwards.
Thomas, a computer programmer, is the grandson of Sir Gilbert Stanley Thomas – and the heir to a £230 million fortune in the pie industry, including Peter's Pies.
