IGL will reduce CNG prices in Delhi-NCR by Rs 2.50 kg from tomorrow

IGL said it will reduce CNG prices in the IGL area, including Delhi NCR, by Rs 2.50/kg. The reduced prices will apply from 6 a.m. tomorrow morning, i.e. March 7, 2024.

New Delhi: After Mahanagar Gas Ltd (MGL) announced that the company has decided to reduce the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) to Rs 73.50/kg with effect from midnight of March 5, 2024/ morning of March 6, 2024, Indraprastha Gas Limited has (IGL) on Wednesday said it will reduce CNG prices in the IGL area, including Delhi NCR, by Rs 2.50/kg. The reduced prices will apply from 6 a.m. tomorrow morning, i.e. March 7, 2024.

“The consumer price of CNG will be reduced by Rs 2.50 per kg from Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 6:00 am in all geographical areas of IGL. The revised retail price of CNG in Delhi will be Rs 74.09 per kg while it will be Rs 78.70 per kg in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad GA from 6 am tomorrow morning,” IGL said in a statement.

This reduction in CNG price would help increase natural gas consumption in the transportation segment, which is a step towards a cleaner and greener India.

Mahanagar Gas reduces the price of CNG in Mumbai

Mahanagar Gas Ltd (MGL) on Tuesday announced reduction in Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) price to Rs 73.50/kg, with effect from midnight of March 5, 2024/morning of March 6, 2024.

“On account of the reduction in gas import costs, MGL is pleased to announce a reduction in CNG price by Rs 2.5/kg in and around Mumbai,” the company said, adding that MGL’s CNG price now offers attractive savings of 53% compared to petrol and 22%. compared to diesel at current price levels in Mumbai.
