Tiger 3 ban: Tiger 3 is just two days away from hitting screens, but it looks like it could put a dent in its big release worldwide. The Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer could be banned in a few selective Gulf countries. There is no official confirmation on this yet, but the internet is full of rumors about how these countries might object to a few scenes in the film.

Several reports suggest that the censor board will take time to pass on the film due to a few scenes including Katrina‘s very popular towel fight scene. Oman, Kuwait and Qatar are the countries where the decision on the screening is still pending and the fans are praying hard not to miss the fun this Sunday when the whole world will witness the roar of the Tiger on screens.

Bollywood films that were banned in the Gulf States

Rather films like Samrat Prithviraj, The Dirty Picture, Padmaavat, PadmanThe Kashmir Files, OMG And Bell bottom faced bans in many Gulf countries and could not obtain the Censor certification for mass viewing. It remains to be seen whether history will repeat itself Tiger 3 also. Tiger 3 shows Salman on a personal mission to Pakistan, where Aatish is determined to take revenge for something he may have unknowingly done in the past. Tiger aka Avinash Rathore will protect his family and also try to regain his respect as India’s most trusted and heroic spy with the help of his friends – Pathaan (SRK from Pathan) and Kabir (Hrithik Roshan from War). It will be interesting to see how the action gives this film an edge over the other spy films in the YRF universe.

Meanwhile, advance bookings for the film in India crossed Rs 12 crore by late Thursday. The Maneesh Sharma directorial has sold around 4.6 lakh tickets for its opening day.
