Liverpool have now announced that they are filming a fly-on-the-wall series that will be released at the end of the season.

The documentary hopes to show a successful end to Klopp's reign as manager.

Liverpool are currently on course to complete a historic quadruple victory, with the Carabao Cup final set to take place later this month.

The club also continues to play in the FA Cup and Europa League and leads the Premier League title race.

The Daily email have claimed that Disney+ is in “advanced discussions” about purchasing the rights to the documentary.

The report adds that the deal could earn Liverpool £10 million from the sale.

It was also suggested that Amazon turned down the opportunity to purchase the rights due to limited access to the dressing room.

This would be the same reason why Netflix has reservations.

Sky Sports and TNT Sports have also been approached about the rights to the series.

However, the report claims the price is higher than their normal documentary budgets.

Liverpool is not the first club to have a documentary filmed behind the scenes.

Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland, Arsenal and Wrexham have released similar projects in the past.

Amazon's All or Nothing series featuring Arsenal and Manchester City was praised for its in-depth coverage of the clubs.

Klopp is said to have only signed the project after being assured that cameras would not film his players in the dressing room.

The Mail has suggested that Liverpool view Disney's offer as “too good to turn down”.

The manager had previously rejected the idea of a documentary after a proposal from Amazon in 2018.
