Madeleine McCann suspects Christian Breuckner’s creepy van is being searched by German FBI for clues to child predation
A van discovered by The Sun is being investigated by the German FBI for child-predation links to Madeleine McCann suspect Christian Brueckner.

It is believed Brueckner had been driving a white Mercedes van in Portugal when the toddler was kidnapped in 2007, although it is not clear whether the vehicles are one and the same.
The FBI wants to examine the Mercedes – which has been shown to belong to the convicted pedophile – in the hope that it could still contain DNA or crucial clues.
An employee at the garage who took the van when Brueckner was done with it said: “We cleaned it and repaired it, but it wouldn’t have been cleaned of all the DNA.
“There may still be hair and other traces of anyone who was kept inside.

“Due to data protection issues, we cannot provide you with exact dates or further details of the customer.”
An official request has been submitted to the Rosier dealer in Braunschweig, which rented the van to Brueckner between 2014 and 2015.
“We are working on this now and appreciate the tip,” said a BKA source. “We will contact Rosier garage today.”
Prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters said: “I know that the white Sprinter information has been passed on to the BKA.”
In addition to any links to Maddie, it is now believed that Brueckner owned the vehicle when German Maddie, Inga Gehricke, disappeared in the forest in Saxony-Anhalt in 2015.
Brueckner was initially investigated in connection with the disappearance in 2016 and 2020 – after being involved in an accident an hour away before the case was dropped.
Little Inga Gehricke disappeared on May 2, 2015 during a family picnic in a wooded area of Wilhelmshof.
Like Maddie – who went missing in 2007 – she disappeared without leaving any clues, sparking the largest search for missing persons in German history.
The only clue was the sighting of a ‘white Sprinter van’ driving along a path through the forest right on time.
However, the case remains open and he has not been officially ruled out.
At the time of her disappearance, Brueckner, 47, was living on and off in his abandoned factory in Neuwegersleben, just 90 kilometers away.
He was unable to provide an alibi for the day and the day before he had an accident in nearby Helmstedt, just an hour away.
A friend of Brueckner told the Sun: “He drove it around Europe and even took a girlfriend to Portugal and Spain.
“I went with him in it a few times, even to the box factory, and he used it all the time to move his stolen goods.”
Brueckner he was known to store vehicles at the Neuwegersleben factory.
He bought the plot in former communist East Germany in 2010 and is also said to have lived there in a trailer.
