A new video shows the shocking moment when Britney Spears was punched by NBA star Victor Wembanyama’s guard — and it proved she wasn’t grabbing him.

A clip obtained by TMZ shows the moments leading up to the shocking incident outside Catch restaurant in the ARIA Hote, Las Vegas on Wednesday – with Britney, 41, running to Victor, 19, shouting ‘sir, sir, sir!’ in a British accent before tapping him on the shoulder.

As she taps the star, the guard, Damian Smith, backhands her to the face, causing her to exclaim, her glasses smashed from the impact.

In the aftermath of the blow, the singer is immediately overwhelmed by her loved ones.

Wembanyama had claimed that the clash erupted when Spears grabbed him abruptly from behind, triggering his guard, while the singer claimed she “just tapped him on the shoulder.”

This comes after it emerged that NBA sensation Wembanyama’s security guard will not be charged over the incident.

A spokesman for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department announced Friday that the investigation into the incident has ended.

“No charges will be filed against the person concerned,” the spokesman said.

The two stars have gone back and forth about the incident in the days since, with Wembanyama telling a press conference on Thursday that Spears “grabbed” him as she tried to meet him at the posh restaurant.

Speaking ahead of his first-ever game for the San Antonio Spurs, the 19-year-old admitted he didn’t realize until hours later that the person grabbing him was Spears.

“At first I thought, ‘No, you’re kidding,'” he said. “But yes, it turned out to be Britney Spears,” he said.

“I didn’t see what happened because I was walking straight and we were told ‘Don’t stop’. But that person grabbed me from behind—not on my shoulder, she grabbed me from behind—so I just know security pushed her away.”

Spears has claimed that the guard sent her tumbling to the floor in pain, but Wembanyama said at the time he did not know how hard she was beaten.

Spears dismissed his version of events, claiming that the “grab” was actually a “simple tap on the shoulder.”

The pop star allegedly approached Wembanyama to meet him before he made his NBA debut, but when she attempted to take a picture, the security guard allegedly punched her as she tried to defend the star.

She added on Instagram that the power of the hit – reportedly by Damian Smith – “almost knocked me down” and that she was “unprepared for it.”

An eyewitness also claimed to TMZ that Spears approached Wembanyama and said in a British accent, “Excuse me, excuse me, sir,” before yelling, “This is f*****g America!” after the alleged attack when Victor walked into the restaurant.

The pop star called the story “super embarrassing to share with the world but it’s already out there” and claimed her security team has never attacked anyone despite decades of fan harassment.

“I get inundated with people all the time,” she said. ‘That evening I was even overrun by a group of at least twenty fans. My security team didn’t hit any of them.’

She said she decided to speak out because she felt it was “important to share this story and urge those in the public eye to set an example and treat all people with respect.”

Spears has claimed she has yet to receive an apology from the NBA rookie or his security team, but said she hasn’t given up hope that one will come.

“I cherish the enormous amounts of love and support I’m receiving right now,” she said.

“Thanks to the Las Vegas Police Department and detectives for their support.”
