Queen Letizia of Spain adds a pop of color to her outfit as she wears a green blazer to fly with King Felipe to Denmark for their official state visit

Queen Letizia of Spain made an absolutely sublime appearance during an official ceremony marking her departure from the country.

The fashionable royal, 51, once again proved she’s the queen of style as she donned a color-blocking ensemble of all black and a hint of lime.

She was spotted with husband King Felipe, 55, as the couple headed from Madrid airport to embark on an official state trip to Denmark.

The mother-of-two was the epitome of style in a fitted black wool coat, black cropped trousers and black chunky leather boots.

Perhaps the most striking of her ensemble was a beautiful blazer in neon green fabric, with a v-neck and shiny gold buttons down the front.

The green blazer was very slightly fitted at the waist and accentuated her already slim and shapely figure.

The former journalist oozed confidence as she walked the grounds in a smart-casual, yet practical look.

Her luscious locks were styled with a side parting and neatly tucked into a bun, while her sleek bangs slid down the front of her face.

For her makeup, she opted for a signature nude base, with just a hint of gold smokey eyeshadow and a touch of black mascara.

She paired the look with minimal jewelry and opted for three miniature silver earrings and a matching silver ring.

For the occasion, King Felipe put on a smart black suit, which he combined with a crisp white shirt, a royal blue tie and black leather lace-up shoes.

The royals were all smiles as they walked up the steps of the plane, just before leaving the capital at Terminal T-4 at Madrid’s Adolfo Suarez Madrid Barajas Airport.

The beautiful couple was also photographed posing with officials and greeting everyone present.

Their Majesties will pay a state visit to the Kingdom of Denmark from November 6 to 8, which will serve to highlight and strengthen bilateral ties and relations between the two countries.

A busy Letizia was spotted attending the 23rd Opera Prima Film Festival in Tudela last week.

She stopped to take selfies with adoring fans and looked effortlessly elegant as she headed to the event, where directors premiered their first films.

For the occasion, Letizia wore a chic light gray dress with long sleeves. She also paired the look with a pair of statement black leather boots, which highlighted her stylish talent.

She wore a pair of simple gold star earrings with a matching gold band on her index finger.

The former journalist oozed confidence as she arrived at the event, stopping to take photos with royal fans.

Some members of the public presented the Spanish queen with a handmade gift, which she accepted with a smile on her face.

Letizia wore her glossy brunette locks over her shoulders and in a practical yet stylish move, the royal pinned her bangs to the side.

The film festival, which concluded today and started earlier this week, showcased a range of the best feature films.
