Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards and husband Mauricio Umansky have split after 27 years of marriage.

Richards, 54, and Umansky, 53, “have been separated for some time but still live under the same roof,” an insider told People Monday. “They remain friendly as they figure out what’s next for them and their family.”

Richards and Umansky married in January 1996 and share daughters Alexia, 27, and Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. Mauricio is also stepfather to Kyle’s daughter Farrah Aldjufrie, 34, from her first marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie.

Kyle’s fame preceded her spot on the Bravo series as she is Kathy Hilton’s sister and Paris Hilton’s aunt.

Dailymail.com has reached out to representatives from both parties for comment on the story.

Richards and her family came to limelight in 2010 when she was a main cast member of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The cast also included her sister Kim Richards, Adrienne Maloof, Camille Grammer, Taylor Armstrong and Lisa Vanderpump.

A dozen seasons later, only Kyle remains on the hit reality series (while Vanderpump has had huge success with her own spin-off Vanderpump Rules).

The series’ 12th season revolved around Richards dealing with fragile family relationships – including with Kathy – as Umansky steadfastly supported her through the tense time.

“I’ve always supported her 100 percent no matter what she does,” Umansky said E! News in November. “If she wants to reconcile, I’m all for it. If she’s not ready to reconcile and she has to hold out for a while, then I support her 100 percent.’

Umansky exclusively told DailyMail.com on June 16 that he shrugged off the Ozempic rumors about his wife Kyle Richards, season two of Buying Beverly Hills, and that he was nominated for Ernst Young’s Entrepreneur Of The Year Award.

In an exclusive conversation with DailyMail.com, Umansky revealed how Richards is handling the rumors that she has been using Ozempic to drop the pounds, even though she has repeatedly denied ever taking controversial weight-loss pills.

‘We’re just laughing. We don’t really care. We laugh about it. She’s already made her statement, and it is what it is. I mean, you know, there’s just nothing you can do about that,’ he explained.

Umansky praised his wife for sticking to a consistent exercise routine and called the naysayers “jealous” and unable to believe that results could be achieved without the use of a substance.

“She’s been so amazing, you know, she’s stopped drinking completely and she’s literally working out every day of her life, and it shows.” And she fucking crushes it.’

‘They are envious people who don’t believe you can do anything without substance. So… just good mental strength.”

Umansky has had success in the real estate world, such as tHe founded the brokerage The Agency, which has offices all over the world.

Umansky recently released the book The Dealmaker: How to Succeed in Business & Life Through Dedication, Determination & Disruption, and last week won Ernst Young’s Entrepreneur Of The Year Greater Los Angeles Award.

Speaking of being nominated ahead of the ceremony, he described the award as a “great honor.”

“I’ve been nominated by Ernst Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year for the Los Angeles area,” he explained. “I made it to the finals, so I can’t wait to hear if we win, because you know, Ernest Young is a big deal, and I think it would be a great honor to win the entrepreneur of the year award .’

As for his book, Umansky is pleased to see his book connecting with readers from all walks of life.

“I’ve gotten good reviews about the book. I’ve gotten so many great DMs from a lot of different people, and it just makes me feel good that I’ve been able to touch a lot of people.

“I mean, there’s just been a variety of different people. There have been people who are literally down and out… sending texts saying “you motivated me”. Other CEOs and executives who have said really interesting perspectives on XY or Z. That was the idea, and it just feels really good that we were able to teach a little bit.”

Now Umansky has followed a similar path to Richards, allowing cameras into his office with the Netflix series Buying Beverly Hills.

The show will premiere in 2022 and will follow employees of The Agency, including his daughters Alexia and Farrah. Buying Beverly Hills returns for a second season, and Umansky promises fans are in for more drama and a real estate feast for the eyes.

“It’s really going to show more of what The Agency is all about and what we do from a lifestyle perspective, a little bit more of the global dynamics and the happenings… and now that you know a lot of the cast members, we can definitely go digging into more of the personalities, lives of the cast members, digging deeper. Not just superficial. And so you’re going to get a lot of that.

“You’ll continue to see great real estate porn, we have some beautiful homes, we have a lot of deals closing, there’s still great things to learn, every deal in real estate is different, there’s always something to learn from it.”

Umansky promised that season two would contain “good drama”: “I can’t wait for it to come out, it’s going to be great.”

Buying Beverly Hills is just one of many reality shows that follow the glamorous lives of realtors. Selling Sunset, another hit series with the same premise as Buying Beverly Hills, has just returned to Netflix for a sixth season.

But Umansky doesn’t see these shows as competition.

“I think we all help each other, you know, if people get into real estate more and they like real estate porn, and all this, we kind of help each other… Even in my own business, if I help other real estate agents in real estate that compete for the same offer, I think of them more as colleagues, and my personality is it’s more like a colleague or an associate or someone who can feed.

“So I think the reason there are several is because the audience wants to watch. So I don’t think it’s oversaturated.’

Umansky has even collaborated with The Oppenheim Group, the company Selling Sunset is all about: “They’re good guys, I like them a lot.”

The Agency has also become something much more meaningful to Umansky than just a 9-5.

With the addition of his daughters Farrah and Alexia to the group, The Agency has truly become a family business.

Speaking of working with his daughters, he said, “It’s been amazing, and for me to have the opportunity to work with my daughters and see them every day…them and to see them blossom and they will crush.’

While Farrah and Alexia are now both agents, they both started out as assistants.

“Farrah started as my assistant and she did everything, and Alexia started in the marketing department as an assistant, and then I brought her to the Umansky team. And now Alexia is now a cop.”

Now the world will get to know his daughters better as they take on more prominent roles in Buying Beverly Hills.

“They are so beautiful and intelligent and smart. Again, season two is completely different from season one precisely because people are starting to get to know them now… I can’t wait for the world to find out who these kids are.

“They’ve been in front of the camera for 13 years, but they’ve always been kind of on the sidelines.”
