Real Housewives of Orange County alum Alexis Bellino on Monday showed off a promise ring she received for Christmas from her boyfriend John Janssen, who once dated the show’s Shannon Beador.
Bellino, 46, took to Instagram to show off the expensive piece of jewelry Janssen, 59, bought her for the holidays, wearing the ring on her hand in an accompanying photo.
Bellino, who split from former fiancé Andy Bohn in September, captioned the image: “Words fail. Actions do. I will no longer feel guilty. I’m not going to apologize. Love will create its own story. I love you Johnny J.”
The Bravo personality added the hashtags #lovewins, #notengaged, #promised and #merrychristmas and tagged French luxury jeweler Van Cleef & Arpels in the post.
According to Van Cleef & Arpelsthe Perlée Clovers ring retails for $16,300, and comes in pink and white variants in 18-karat gold.

The Hannibal, Missouri-born reality star — who has publicly feuded with RHOC alum Vicki Gunvalson over the romance — then posted a few photos of her and Janssen together, including a photo of her wearing the expensive ring.
“Johnny J, let everyone talk,” Bellino said. “But you showed me love I never knew. I love you,” with the hashtags #thisisourchristmascard and #merrychristmas.
In one shot, Bellino and Janssen matched in khaki ensembles as they posed in front of a wine barrel rack. Bellino’s ring was prominently visible as she held Janssen’s tan suede coat.
The other photo showed Bellino and Janssen in a boat, holding hands with the ocean in the background.
Speculation about a possible romance between Janssen and Bellino ensued on November 19, when they both attended a group dinner at The Quiet Woman restaurant in Corona Del Mar, California. American weekly reported.
Beador, 59, who was in a relationship with Janssen for three years before their surprise split in January, said she was “hurt” after learning Janssen was dating Bellino.
Beador attended the second season premiere of Jeff Lewis’ Hollywood Houselift on December 6, where she commented on her feelings about Janssen’s romance with Bellino.
“I’m not going to lie, I’m hurt,” Beador said E! News. ‘I’ve been hurt a lot these past few weeks,” Beador began.

Beador said she was hurt, “because, first of all, John said he didn’t want to be in the public eye, and he’s put himself more in the public eye at this point; so I’m quite confused about that.’
The new relationship is also pretty bizarre, considering Alexis’ ex-husband Jim Bellino previously sued Beador for defamation in 2018, long after Alexis left RHOC.
“John is very aware of a lawsuit that I was involved in along with Jim Bellino, and Alexis was involved in that lawsuit,” Shannon said. ‘I was devastated financially and emotionally for years. And I won. But it has devastated me financially. And I’m a single mother. John is aware of that.’
Beador, who joined RHOC in season nine just after Bellino left the show in season eight, added that she doesn’t know why Janssen would date another RHOC member.
‘I don’t know how to process it. How many Orange County Housewives have there been? Is that your dating pool?’ she asked.
Beador also cleared up rumors that she had a verbal altercation with Bellino just one night before her DUI arrest in September.
“I don’t know her,” Beador said. “She said that on my unfortunate night I shouted obscenities at her across the bar, which I didn’t do, and I have witnesses to prove that. If you’re going to say things about me, let’s talk about the truth.’
When asked where she stood with John, she said: ‘I haven’t spoken to him in a while. It’s been two months.’
