Sean Penn, 63, wears new platinum locks while attending the star-studded Variety’s Creative Impact Awards brunch event in Palm Springs

Sean Penn sported new platinum white locks at Variety’s Creative Impact Awards and 10 Directors To Watch brunch event in Palm Springs on Friday.

The Mystic River actor, 63 – who recently spent time with actress Nathalie Kelley, 39, in Miami – joined other celebrities at the ceremony, including the glamorous Kate Hudson and Eva Longoria.

The Oscar winner kept it casual by wearing a black short-sleeved shirt and dark gray pants.

He was seen speaking on stage at the star-studded event, addressing the A-list crowd shortly before introducing Penelope Cruz – who received the Creative Impact in Acting Award during the festivities.

While describing her acting, Sean said per Variety‘If she wants us to understand, we will. If she wants us to feel, we feel, because she lets us.”

The Ferrari actress also shared a hug with Penn as he presented the award to her during brunch.

Penelope made a stylish presentation in a pink plaid tweed miniskirt and a matching jacket that also included shades of black and white.

She threw on a plain black top underneath and put on a pair of black open-toed heels, secured with thin straps that wrapped around her ankles.

While on stage, the Vanilla Sky actress said, “I feel very lucky to be able to make a living from acting. This has been my passion since I was a little girl.”

‘When I receive an award for what I love to do, it feels very confusing and shocking. When I was a little girl, I prayed every night, “Please God, don’t lock me in an office.”

“I thought, if I can’t let go of everything that’s happening here, I know I’d go crazy,” Cruz told the other attendees.

Before stopping by Friday’s special ceremony held at the Parker Palm Springs Hotel, Penn was busy.

He was seen on stage at the star-studded event, addressing the A-list audience shortly before introducing Penelope Cruz – who received the Creative Impact in Acting Award during the festivities.

It is also unknown when the two first met, but the pair were first spotted together grabbing a bite to eat at Nobu in Malibu in May 2023.

Penn was previously married to singer Madonna, from 1985 until their divorce was finalized in 1989.

He later married Forrest Gump actress Robin Wright in 1996 until their divorce in 2010.

The former couple welcomed two children during their marriage: daughter Dylan, 32, and Hopper, 30.

Sean was last married to Australian actress Leila George, to whom he said “I do” in 2020.

However, the following year in October 2021, she filed for divorce, which was later finalized in April 2022.
