DISAPPOINTED shoppers have labeled a bargain store ‘cheaper than Primark’ as a total flop full of ‘rotten’ stock.

Fashion fans raced to Brand Max in Glasgow after it went viral on TikTok last month.

Many shared their successful shipments on the social media app, comparing the store to TK Maxx and Primark, but with better prices.

But not everyone is a fan of the designer outlet, which has 25 branches in the UK and Ireland, including one near Glasgow Fort.

After trying it out for themselves, one shopper claimed it was a “pile of c***” and told bargain hunters they would be better off going to Morrisons.

Another urged fashion fans not to “waste their time”.

He said: “A lot of the cheap stuff is fast fashion, which you would get cheap on the website anyway, but obviously it didn’t sell and that’s why it went there [Brand Max].

“It seems like all the things TK Maxx couldn’t sell have gone there, it’s like a budget TK Maxx.

“I think it’s just hype, I wouldn’t waste your time on it. Most of the stuff is rotten in my opinion.”

A third scowled: “It’s basically Sports Direct with some household stuff. Don’t waste your petrol.”

And a fourth chimed in: ‘Drived over an hour to try it [and] bargain and almost nothing more, and all small sizes. I was so upset that it was probably too late.”

Brand Max bosses say they are offering “the best collections alongside new designer labels” at discounts of up to 70%.

They added: “Brand Max is the home to all your favorite designer brands at low prices.

“We have home goods, outdoor and garden items, branded clothing, health and beauty products.”

And some shoppers are far from disappointed after buying 75p bikinis, £5 heels and clothes for under a tenner.

One said: “It was a very, very good place. They have house stuff, hair stuff and lots of things.

“It reminds me of TK Maxx to be honest, but cheaper. So many things for a fiver. It’s like TK Maxx, but better.

“£5 for these lovely little clear heels, I had to buy them.

“Bikini top for 75p, they have French Connection stuff and £6 for Missguided sets.”

Another wrote: “Girls run not walk to Brand Max in Glasgow Fort.

“All clothes under $10, $5 heels and $3 Playboy Bunny tops.

“It’s a yes from me. There are so many hidden finds and it’s all so cheap.”

Meanwhile, a third shouted: “Cheaper than Primark, I’m going soon.”
