Singer Tom Odell, 32, secretly marries model Georgie Somerville, 22, in intimate family wedding in Hackney

Tom Odell has married his fiancée Georgie Somerville in an intimate family wedding.

The 32-year-old singer married the beauty at St John Of Jerusalem Church in London’s Hackney on Saturday, November 25, after a three-year engagement.

Georgie, 22, shared photos of the happy day on Instagram Story, and she looked absolutely stunning in a traditional silky ivory dress.

She wore a simple veil and headband with cream beads and carried a bouquet filled with red and purple flowers.

Georgie changed her outfit for the evening, opting for a shorter one with feathers, complete with a beautiful lace cape.

Georgie took to the dance floor with Tom for their first dance, in front of a live band, as they enjoyed a night to remember.

Smiling Tom, famous for the song Another Love, opted for a black suit with a white shirt and bow tie.

While the couple has been largely private about the details of their big day, Tom’s friend and co-writer Tom Rosenthal leaked a blurry image.

He wrote: ‘Congratulations to the brilliant duo @meme.devil and @tompeterodell. This is the only chance I got, but I think we can all agree that I succeeded.”

Tom previously joked that his songs were mainly based on his “inability to maintain a relationship with anyone for more than six months.”

In 2013, he told Hunger TV: ‘I find that I write much better songs when I’m honest and write about things that happen to me.

‘It can get a bit strange when friends find out that a song is about them. But it’s amazing how much you can get away with. Artistic license, I think that’s what they call it.’

Tom briefly dated Taylor Swift in 2013 and told Cosmopolitan magazine in 2016: ‘I’ve been on a few bad dates. One was so bad I even climbed out of the toilet window.

‘I’ve definitely come up with a few excuses too, like, “My friend is going through something, I have to go” or “My house is burning down.” However, there are only so many times you can use it.”

Tom and Georgie live in Hackney with their beloved cat.

In February 2022, Tom was stalked by a fan who sent him letters and showed up at his home, the court heard.

Olga Moskaleva, 45, bombarded the star with postcards, letters and emails and lingered at a music venue hoping to contact him.

She was asked to leave the singer alone, but harassed him for more than seventeen months between April 1, 2020 and September 20, 2021.

Tickets for Tom’s additional dates went on sale on Friday 27 November, with shows in Dublin and Limerick, and a major show in London’s Alexandra Palace Park on 19 July 2024 announced.
