Taylor Swift has delighted fans when she finally dropped From The Vault Track You’re Losing Me on streaming services after being crowned Spotify’s Global Top Artist in 2023.
The 33-year-old singer, who was also the most listened to artist on Spotify Wrapped 2023 with over 26.1 billion global streams, took to social media to wax lyrical about the “unreal moment.”
She wrote, “Um, okay, this is surreal? I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has listened to my music this year, anywhere in the world.
“Being named Spotify’s Global Top Artist in 2023 is truly the best birthday/holiday gift you could have given me. We seriously had the MOST fun on tour this year and now this. Are you serious.”
“So I was trying to think of a way to say thank you, and a lot of you have been asking me to put ‘You’re Losing Me (From The Vault)’ on streaming… so here you go! Now you can finally listen EVERYWHERE.’

The song was released digitally via her online store earlier in May – with the song reportedly referencing her split from Joe Alwyn after six years.
The lyrics include: “I wouldn’t marry me either / A pathological people pleaser / Who only wanted you to see her,” Swift sings on the song. Other lyrics include: ‘Do I throw away everything we built or do I keep it? / I grow weary even for a phoenix / I always rise from the ashes / Repair all her wounds / Perhaps you have dealt the final blow.”
The Enchanted singer, who currently has more than 108 million monthly listeners on the streaming platform, previously reached the UK top spot in 2022.
This year has been another highly successful year for the pop superstar, who is estimated to have generated nearly $5 billion in consumer spending on the US leg of her Eras Tour alone.
Only two British artists joined Taylor in the top five most-streamed artists in Britain, with Drake and The Weeknd finishing in second and third place respectively.
Spotify Wrapped 2023 summarizes how 574 million people around the world listened to the streaming giant this year.
The brand revealed that Arctic Monkeys and Ed Sheeran fought their way into fourth and fifth UK spots.
But it wasn’t just in Britain that Taylor took home the most listened to crown; She also came out on top internationally.

It was the first time in three years that the Bad Bunny wasn’t the most listened to artist in the world.
But the Puerto Rican rapper did take second place after releasing the most streamed album of 2023 – Un Verano Sin Ti – and racking up a whopping 4.5 billion streams since January 1.
In third place was The Weeknd, whose album – Starboy – was the fourth most streamed of the year globally, despite being released in 2016.
The Weeknd was followed by Drake, Peso Pluma, Feild and Travis Scott, who released his highly anticipated album Utopia in July.
The eight most streamed artists worldwide was SZA, who turned the R&B genre on its head with her critically acclaimed album SOS.
SOS, with hits such as Kill Bill, Snooze and Good Days, was the third highest-streamed album internationally on Spotify.
After SZA in ninth and tenth place, Karol G and Summertime Sadness crooner Lana Del Rey follow.
Swift also had major success with two songs, both of which entered Spotify’s top ten most-streamed songs worldwide.
Both her 2016 single Cruel Summer and her 2022 hit Anti-Hero ranked sixth and tenth on the list.
Taking the crown on the list of most listened to songs in the world in 2023 was Miley Cyrus’s Flowers, with more than 1.6 billion listens since January 1.
In second and third place was SZA with Kill Bill and As It Was by Harry Styles.
As It Was previously topped the list of most streamed songs on the streaming platform in 2022, with nearly 1.5 billion plays.
This year, Swift reflected the same success with her albums as well.
Two of the country singer’s projects also proved to be global favorites, with Midnights and Lover revealed as the second and seventh most listened to albums worldwide.

Taylor Swift also reflected her success in album streams, with both Midnights and Lover emerging as global favorites
