Terrifying moment the wild elephant tries to turn the safari tourist bus over while lifting the vehicle off the ground with its trunk
THIS IS the terrifying moment a territorial male bull elephant attacks a safari truck full of tourists.
The images show how the gigantic 11ft elephant attacks the hood of the truck with his trunk, over and over, trying to knock it over.

The safari truck, which was full touristsis pushed onto its hind wheels by the elephant’s force and almost falls over before crashing – somehow upright.
The aggressive bull elephant starts the process again.
He takes a few steps back before charging at the tourists again with all his might.
A passenger on board the truck also captured the incident, showing the driver frantically trying to reverse the truck away from the attacking elephant.

It also becomes clear that the only thing separating the driver and the ferocious animal is the truck’s glass windshield.
The images, which have since been posted on social mediahas seen a wealth of criticism of the director.
Some YouTube users have speculated that the safari group must have gotten too close to the wild animal, while others have said the elephant must have felt threatened.
However, one social media user claimed to have seen a video that revealed more about the situation.
The user wrote: “Unfortunately the video only shows the end of the story and not the full story.
“The elephant entered the parking lot while guests were both on foot in the open air and on the walkway to the shelter.
“The guide sat there quietly with the engine off until the elephant started approaching the vehicle.
“The elephant did not retreat and continued to approach, without responding to warning cries and the slamming and slamming of doors as normal.”
The user further alleged that the guide had merely turned on the engine and revved the truck in a desperate attempt to protect himself and the people on the safari.
They added: “I hope the full video is released as I am sure you will all feel some sympathy for the guide and how absolutely terrified he must have been, taking action to help others in a very difficult situation.
“I have no doubt that the guide and guests are traumatized by this event and I ask for your understanding until you too have seen the full video. It makes so much more sense.”
This is not the first time a tourist vehicle has been attacked by a testosterone-fueled male bull elephant.
Images from November 2021 showed the moment when a 13ft tall elephant attacked tourists who had gotten too close to his herd.
Although both trucks stopped on a dirt road, it seems this was a little too close for the bull elephant’s liking – which gets angry and charges at the first vehicle.
The guide had no choice but to jump from his seat as the elephant’s tusks sliced through the body of the safari truck.
The elephant then lifted the 11-seater vehicle off the ground and pushed it off the road.
When bull elephants are ready to reproduce, they see their testosterone levels multiply by up to 60 times.
They become sexually aggressive and very violent towards humans and they secrete a tarry discharge on the side of their heads that warns of their sexual arousal.
Back in 2017, a British tourist was also subjected to a rampaging elephant who chased her for more than a mile.
Footage from the time showed the huge animal flapping its ears and running after the safari jeep as the woman shouted at her driver.
