Tyson Fury hints at a major tactical adjustment as he trains for fight with Oleksandr Usyk
TYSON FURY has hinted at a change in tactics for his fight with Oleksandr Usyk by giving fans a glimpse into his training.
The pair of undefeated champions were scheduled to collide on February 17 in the first four-belt fight in the heavyweight division.
But just two weeks before the Saudi showdown, the Gypsy King suffered a terrible stoppage in sparring, forcing the fight to be rescheduled for May 18.
Now Fury – who watched Manchester United beat Liverpool at Old Trafford – is officially back in action by resuming his training camp.
Fury shared a clip of his pad session with Bob Howard, who has cornered his brothers Tommy and Roman in the past.
And interestingly enough, he turns to his left and subtitles the short clip: “Southpaw GK.”
Fury has switched hits many times throughout his career, once fighting Martin Rogan in 2012 purely as a southpaw just to prove he could do it.
The WBC champion controversially defeated MMA star Francis Ngannou, 37, in his last fight in October despite being knocked out.
And he recently watched from ringside in Riyadh as Anthony Joshua, 34, went on to knock out Ngannou in two rounds.
But Fury – set for a two-fight series with the man who beat AJ twice in Usyk – has refused to even entertain the all-British fight for now.

He told The pounding ground: “Me and Usyk is the biggest fight of the century, for all the belts it’s the first time this has ever happened, six, seven belts on the line.
“He’s undefeated, I’m undefeated, and there’s nothing bigger than that. No fight is bigger than that.
“I know people are trying to get their foot in the door to fight me, but if I beat Usyk, I will be the undisputed.
“And then I’m going to fight him again and I understand that one of the belts is going to be taken away from us right away.
“So I have two fights this year with Oleksandr Usyk. Let’s not forget that Usyk beat the other guy twice in a row.
“That puts him a long way up the ladder, not even close, you know?” So me and Usyk are the fight?’
