The Block’s Kyle and Leslie have shared their theory on why Leah and Ash still can’t sell their house more than a month after the renovation show’s finale.

And the reality TV stars believe Channel Nine’s ratings popularity could ironically be to blame for the lack of interest in House 2.

The Block “probably adds a lot of value to the property because it’s on TV,” firefighter Kyle Cottone said Yahoo lifestyle on Saturday – but the show’s behind-the-scenes nature also revealed the true value of each home.

“It’s a case of letting the cat out of the bag, so after the show everyone knows what it’s worth so they can start insulting you,” he added.

But Kyle also admitted that the design of the much-maligned home may have been a factor in its failure to sell.

“I didn’t feel that Leah and Ash shouldn’t have made any money, but I also thought they might have had the least attractive house for the masses,” he said of the modern art deco property.

It comes after Leah and Ash suffered another embarrassment following their nightmare auction result last month.

The couple were left devastated after their beautiful five-bedroom, four-bathroom apartment was donated for $2.9 million.

Now a beautiful bungalow, located just a few doors away from their lavish renovation in Melbourne’s Hampton East, has just sold.

The stunning property, which has been put on the market for $2.09 million, features four bedrooms and one bathroom, reports Domain.

The house features a cozy mix of modern style with classic ‘California Bungalow’.

Highlights of the home include a rear ‘entertainment deck’, extensive gardens and a large built-in veranda with wooden finishes.

The beautifully preserved home also retains many features of the classic California bungalow style, including bay windows, wood finishes and oak floors.

There is also a stylish, modern bathroom, kitchen and updated living areas.

Meanwhile, Leah and Ash continue to desperately sell their amazing renovation.

The couple continued to struggle with no takers in sight after a buyer willing to pay $3.1 million backed out last month.

And now Yahoo Lifestyle reports that interest in the lavish retro home has “hit an all-time low.”

A source told the publication that the longer the house sits on the market, “the further away an end is in sight.”

“A Christmas miracle is needed at this stage if they want the house to be sold by 2023,” the insider claimed.
