Smaller transmitter locations have disappeared from the air due to wind damage and power outages.

While wind and heavy rain have also caused damage to roof antennas and cables.

A misaligned TV antenna often means the wind is pushing it away from the strongest signal.

This disruption is expected to continue through the middle of this week as a separate storm Jocelyn is approaching with winds of 75 miles per hour.

Storm Jocelyn is forecast to roll in on Tuesday afternoon (January 23) and is expected to cause more commotion on the airwaves, especially in areas that rely on rural masts.

If the power outage is severe, it can last from a few minutes to several days.
