And he was defeated in ten rounds, even being floored.

But the humbling loss doesn’t appear to have deterred Diaz after he took to social media to call out the heavyweight division’s top stars.

He posted: “Anthony Joshua Deontay wanted Tyson rage. I’ll kick all your ass just so you know.”

But fans quickly hit back as someone replied: “I love you Nate…but you lost to Jake Paul…”

Another said: “You lost to Jake Paul.”

One joked: “You couldn’t beat Jake Paul.”

Diaz, 38, left the UFC after his last fight against Tony Ferguson, 40, in September 2022.

But he did so with his trilogy series with Conor McGregor, 35, which has yet to be completed as they are stuck together after two stints.

McGregor called to return against 37-year-old Michael Chandler on June 29 before settling the score with Diaz in September.

He posted on Instagram: “I wish this on Mexican Independence Day in the atmosphere. Chandler June. Diaz September. I made this known.”

But UFC president Dana White cheekily replied, “Yeah, I’m not doing that fight.”
