UFOs are one thing – but unidentified SUBS are the real threat… ‘USOs’ lurk in the undiscovered depths, warns former US admiral

A retired US admiral has warned governments to pay more attention to unidentified submarines as they pose a “real threat” to international maritime security.

Vice Admiral and oceanographer Tim Gallaudet said Unidentified underwater objects – or USOs – need urgent and targeted research because they could reside in the unexplored depths of our oceans.

In his latest report, Admiral Gallaudet explained that this is an under-researched phenomenon, and not that aliens lurk beneath our oceans.

The former US Army described USOs as “large lighted vessels,” often seen alone beneath the surface of the sea “or as part of a group in formation.”

In a chilling warning, Gallaudet said these unknown bodies can sometimes travel into deep ocean waters without ever surfacing.

And because most research focuses on what happens in the air, this means that superpowers can make moves underwater without almost anyone knowing.

Gallaudet said, “We have less research on transmedium UAP and USOs than is ideal.

“These underwater anomalies endanger U.S. maritime security, which is already weakened by our relative ignorance of the global ocean.

“At the same time, their presence in the oceans offers an unprecedented opportunity for the maritime sector science.

“To meet the security and scientific challenges, transmedium UAP
and USOs should be elevated to national ocean research priorities.”

Vice Admiral Gallaudet has therefore urged the US government and the international community to take action and prioritize the investigation of UAPs and USOs.

This would be primarily to address the maritime security challenge posed by what he described as “hard” threats.

Such “proliferating and overwhelming” threats would mainly arise from Putin’s war in Ukrainethe Israel-Hamas warlike Iran‘s proxy conflicts in the Red Sea, North Korea‘s getting bigger nuclear arsenal, and China‘s dangerous movements towards Taiwan.

“The ‘hard’ security threats appear to be proliferating, with an overwhelming majority affecting the maritime domain,” Gallaudet said.

“Russia continues its brutal conflict in Ukraine, where the Black Sea is the scene of a hot naval war. Another war is raging between Israel and the terrorist group Hamas, prompting the deployment of a US Navy aircraft carrier strike group to the region.

“The same US Navy assets intercept strike after attack by Iranian allies on international shipping in the Red Sea.

Meanwhile, in the Indo-Pacific, North Korea increases its nuclear saber-rattling against the West, and China continues to fight the West.
its incursions with military aircraft into Taiwan’s air defense identification zone.”

The former U.S. Marine also cited the plethora of “soft” challenges.

China is the dominant actor in this arena,” he said.

‘Either through economic coercion via state-owned companies, or through all kinds of environmental damage, such as at sea pollutiondestruction of coral reefs, illegal fishing and uncontrolled greenhouse gas emissions.

“One threat that may be even greater than all of these is largely unseen: the global network of undersea cables that form the backbone of global communications and information.
Handover.

“This vast complex of seabed infrastructure supports global trade, military preparedness and logistics, and the Internet itself.

“It is fair to say that this threat and the other threats outlined above paint a problematic picture for the maritime sector
security.”

Gallaudet, who previously urged the US government to take action on international UFO research, labeled the undersampling of the world’s oceans a “disturbing” and “critical concern” for maritime security.

That’s because the ocean covers 71 percent of the surface SoilOn the surface, less than 25 percent of the seafloor has been mapped and only five percent of the ocean’s volume has been explored.

It means that more is known about the surfaces of Mars and the moon than about the seabed of our own planet.

Gallaudet further claimed that the US government is reportedly “not sharing everything it knows” about UAPs and USOs, making it difficult to address security threats in the planet’s oceans.

He said: “The geophysical undersampling of the world’s ocean is a critical concern for maritime security, as acquiring and maintaining knowledge about threats on and under the sea remains a continually unfinished task.

“The fact that unidentified objects with unexplained characteristics are entering U.S. water space and the DOD is not raising a giant red flag is a sign that the government is not sharing everything it knows about anomalous phenomena across all domains.

“An effective and comprehensive approach to maritime security must seek to uncover the “unknown unknowns” associated with transmedium UAP and USOs.

The admiral argued that further knowledge about these unidentified objects roaming the world’s waters could transform “virtually every economic sector – not to mention defense.”

These include air and sea transport, energy generation, agriculture, communications, computers, manufacturing and space travel.

“Further study of UAP could lead to discoveries that make those of the Scientific Revolution in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries look like baby steps,” he said.

Gallaudet also mentioned pilots, “credible observers” and state-of-the-art military personnel technology have captured objects “accelerating at speeds and crossing the air-sea interface in ways not possible for anything made by humans.”

It comes after strange sightings were also reported by locals and UFO enthusiasts.

Dramatic images emerged in June 2022 a series of bright lights hovered over San Diego.

The mysterious video shared online on Monday prompted locals to speculate wildly about whether UFOs were flying over the Pacific Ocean.

Other bizarre images of a large ‘cube’ floating above the ocean led to a number of new UFO theories.
