Ukraine builds 600-mile wall of DEATH, studded with 42,000 ‘dragon teeth’, to defend against Putin’s attack

UKRAINE has created an incredible new defense line against Putin’s forces, complete with 42,000 concrete ‘dragon’s teeth’ spread along barbed wire-lined trenches.

Zelenskiy’s army is preparing to face Russia’s latest assault in coming months, with a 900-kilometer-long wall of death made of anti-tank obstacles, underground bunkers and fortified trenches.

Running along the meat grinder’s front line are freshly dug trenches, concrete traps and underground command centers for Kiev’s brave troops.

Grim images from the ground show rows and rows of sharp-edged pyramid structures piercing the Ukrainian countryside in the battle against hotbeds.

The dragon’s teeth anti-tank barriers are designed to stop waves of Russian tanks as they roll across Ukrainian land – something Vlad’s army used against Ukraine during their 2023 counter-offensive.

Concrete defensive posts are also set up over large distances to prevent the Russians from advancing.

Putin’s three-tier system of trenches, tank traps and strong points is echoed in Ukraine’s new fortifications – and it could strengthen them enough to hold out.

A Dnipro official said that “strengthening the region’s defensive capacity is one of the priority areas” as they prepare for Mad Vlad’s next move.

Dnipro, in central Ukraine, ordered 42,000 dragon teeth and 14 sets of reinforced concrete structures for its defense efforts.

And in Zaporizhia, a whopping £27 million was earmarked for the same efforts.

Cities in Donetsk, including battle-hardened Avdiivka, and areas around Kharkiv are also being fortified in anticipation of their defense.

Avdiivka was hit hard by Russian forces who bombarded Ukrainian forces with bombs and artillery ammunition, while Kiev’s ground forces did not have enough ammunition to fight back.

But the work to prepare Ukraine for Russia’s new advance is grueling.

Just a few kilometers from the front line, Ukrainian engineers are busy digging out enough trenches and placing enough dragon’s teeth around the front line.

Andrii, a Ukrainian soldier, told it Le Monde: “This circular anti-tank trench was dug by a specialized MDK-3 excavator.”

He explains that the excavator gives the tanks better edges so that the earth doesn’t sag over time, making them more effective at stopping Russian tanks.

And according to RBC UkraineZelensky’s troops even build minefields to stop enemies in their path.

Putin’s war in Ukraine

ON February 24, 2022, Russian tyrant Vladimir Putin launched a brutal and bloody invasion of Ukraine.

Russian forces stormed the border from Belarus in the north, Russia in the east and Crimea in the south, taking over towns, torturing and slaughtering civilians.

Putin called it a “special military operation” to “denazify Ukraine,” which he believes belongs to Russia in his twisted mind.

In October 2022, the Kremlin signed treaties annexing the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions from Ukraine, making them part of Russia.

This war is an extension of what Putin started in 2014 when he did the same with Crimea.

Russia’s constant and bizarre propaganda has served as a front for the brutality of the country and its people for two years.

But while grueling meat grinder battles are fought on the front lines, Zelensky’s Ukrainian forces continue to build an impressive defense.

And Ukraine has pledged to reclaim all of its territory, taking some good steps.

In the Black Sea they have taken out some of Putin’s most important warships and strongholds, but without significant fighter jets they do not have sufficient air cover.

A lack of aircraft, vital ammunition and tanks has left Ukraine struggling to achieve the objectives of its 2023 land counter-offensive.

The US, Britain and other countries in the West have sent money, supplies, ammunition and training to Ukraine in an effort to help.

But concerns continue to grow around the world that the support is not enough and that if NATO does not act to drive Putin out of Ukraine, he will bring war to Europe’s doorstep.

In an excruciating Catch-22, Kiev’s defenses along the part of the front line stretching from southern Zaporizhia to eastern Donetsk cannot be so rigid.

The main focus of their offensive efforts against Russia, in a war where they focus largely on defense, too many reinforcements risk slowing both them and Russia down.

Edward Arnold, of think tank RUSI, told The Telegraph: “The problem for the Ukrainians is that they don’t want to simply become static.

“If the lines become static and don’t move at all, that’s not great from a political point of view.”

They will have to find a balance between maintaining a successful defense with their new fortifications, while continuing the offensive against Russian forces.

Ukraine’s efforts to strengthen their defense lines come after international calls for more aid in the form of ammunition, fighter jets, pilot training, tanks and missiles.

Both American and European support have been critical to Ukraine’s efforts military analysts have previously warned The Sun that the coming months are a crucial time to increase this if they hope to win.

Putin’s new hell offensive

The Institute for the Study of War, which has closely monitored the past two years of the conflict, recently released a number of disturbing updates from Russia.

They use enhanced guided glide bombs to attack Ukraine’s armed forces.

Putin has replaced his navy chief admiral in an effort to bounce back from some of his losses in the Black Sea.

The early voting for the mock elections in Russia has begun. There will be several more days of symbolic votes before Putin undoubtedly gets a new term in office.

Most importantly, as Putin builds up his forces, he is pushing for even more seizures of Ukrainian land at Bakhmut and Avdiivka.

Not only are these advances signs of Russian efforts to prepare for a renewed offensive push; they also reflect the previously leaked military documents that charted his path to war.

It is not clear exactly how many new soldiers the despot has been able to mobilize, but if an offensive is looming in late spring or early summer, it could be a cause for serious concern, regardless of the new reinforcement efforts of Ukraine all the more important.
