Actor Varun Mitra well recognized for his outstanding work in web series guilty ghosts, recently won over audiences in the Disney+Hotstar production ‘Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo.’ Varun played Kapil, the son of Rani Ba (Dimple Kapadia), in the Homi Adajania directed web series. After the success of the show, Varun Mitra got into an exclusive fun conversation with India.com. He spoke of the show’s fresh take on the fragile male ego, claiming that ego has nothing to do with men and women. Varun Mitra teamed up with Rhea Chakraborty for a romantic musical, ‘Jalebi – The eternal taste of lovein 2018. During our conversation with the actor, we asked him if he interacted with his co-star, especially during a certain stage in her life. He said, “At a time when she was going through what she was going through, all you want is your close friends and family around.”

However, Varun Mitra claimed that while he and Rhea didn’t really interact, they were always cordial when they bumped into each other. He continued, “God knows what she went through was hell and back so we weren’t in touch then but yeah I met her somewhere recently and she seems to be doing better.”

After the success ofSaas Bahu Aur Flamingo,’ the actor will be seen next to Kangana Ranaut. During our conversation, we asked Varun Mitra if the ‘Queenstar is a hard taskmaster on the sets. He told us that she is the warmest person and does everything to make you feel comfortable. “She is the warmest person you will ever meet on set. She is on time, she gives directions and she is extremely loving. She called us all for lunch and we met and broke the ice so we could all flow into the scene together. She’s a completely different person on set. You know very professional and friendly. Just makes everything really easy on set,” said Varun Mitra.

The actor who will share screen space with Kangana Ranaut in ‘Tejas‘ continued, ‘I’m relatively new to the business as far as she’s considered, she went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. It was a very chill set.”
