A COUPLE accidentally became millionaires overnight thanks to the world's biggest computer problem.

The woman bought the ticket online and told The Lott she accidentally bought it as a doubles match.

But little did she know, she and her husband had the only Division 1 winning entry in Powerball drawing 1447, taking home a whopping $5 million.

“It was almost a serendipitous purchase,” she said 9News.

“My husband normally buys our entries, but he had a few issues, so I said, 'Oh, I'll just jump ahead and do it.'

“He found out and bought an entree, but by then I had done the same. Oh my god, our mortgage is gone.”

She said the life-changing win would mean the couple would look abroad holidays.

“We have so many options,” she said.

The winning numbers were 25, 12, 6, 20, 26, 16 and 7.

The all-important Powerball number was 2.

She explained: 'I think many charities could benefit from this, especially those who help disadvantaged children.

'This prize will help many people.

“It's my main goal.”
