Sharon Stone tells about a nightmare from the past in the field of plastic surgery.

In a interview with In style published on Tuesday, February 13, the 65-year-old actress revealed that she suffered from a botched reconstructive surgery after her doctor removed large but benign tumors from each of her breasts.

Stone woke up from the surgery to find her breast significantly larger. Her doctor had made the decision to enlarge her breasts to fit her hips proportionately – all without the actress' consent.

“We decided it would be a better fit,” Stone recalled the doctor telling her.

“I was standing there deciding if my fist would look good in his teeth,” Stone said In style. “I was furious with him. I'm glad he's dead.”

Shortly after the disturbing plastic surgery incident, Stone suffered a stroke that started as a brain hemorrhage and led to 23 platinum coils being placed in her neck to ease blood flow to her brain.

In a Interview August 2022 of Vogue ArabiaStone explained that her relationship with cosmetic procedures changed after she had the stroke.

“There were times when I was super famous getting Botox and fillers and stuff, and then I had a massive stroke and a nine-day brain haemorrhage and then I had to have over 300 injections of Botox and fillers to clear one side of my face. to make. my face came back up,” she told the publication.

In the same interview, Stone added that what was once a “cute luxury” turned into “some kind of enormous, painful neurological need.”

Unfortunately, Stone's medical problems also coincided with the collapse of her marriage to a journalist Phil Bronstein. The couple was married from 1998 to 2004 and share 23-year-old son Roan Joseph Bronstein.

In 2021, Stone released her memoir, The beauty of living twicein which she describes how she rebuilt her life after the series of traumatic events.

“I have learned to forgive the unforgivable,” Stone wrote in the book. “My hope is that as I share my journey, you will also learn to do the same.”
