My 52nd body put me in a coma and I only had the energy to brush my teeth twice a week
1000-Lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton has admitted that her morbid obesity caused her to fall into a coma.
The TV star reached a staggering 52nd place at her toughest point, and earlier this year she admits she was rushed to hospital after she stopped breathing.

During the emergency that started at a weight-loss clinic, she was put on a ventilator and put into a coma.
Tammy, 37, admitted the scare reportedly made her change her outlook on life last year, and she has now lost an incredible 31st.
Due to the enormous weight loss, she can finally walk without assistance.
Fans were first introduced to Tammy and her sister Amy Slaton-Halterman when 1000-Lb Sisters premiered on TLC in January 2020.
After struggling with her weight all her life, Kentucky, US, native Tammy reached her target weight before weight loss surgery during a February 2023 episode, after dropping from over 50 to 38.
Tammy underwent the procedure, bariatric surgery, and admitted she was “excited to get another chance at life.”
Three months after surgery, she received 24-hour oxygen support.
But it wasn’t just breathing and walking unassisted that Tammy struggled with; her weight took a huge toll on her personal hygiene.
Viewers were shocked when Tammy admitted on the show that she rarely brushed her teeth as she went to the dentist for the first time in ten years.
While at the dentist, she was asked how often she cleaned her teeth, and she revealed, “I try at least twice a week. “I should do it every day, but…”

Viewers were shocked by the confession, but Tammy is unrepentant.
She hit back at her Tik Tok trolls, saying: “With all due respect, I wish people like you would stop saying this kind of nonsense.
‘It doesn’t help my self-confidence.
“I was trying to boost my self-confidence and seeing comments about my chin or my teeth doesn’t help.”
Despite struggling with these issues, she is now confident that her weight loss has given her a new lease on life, and is interested in pursuing a new career in modeling.
Tammy has been dressing up and posing for the camera at her home in Kentucky, as a source said Tammy has her eyes on modeling and increasing her publicity outside of the reality show.
Tammy has vowed not to let her body ‘defeat’ her after her near-fatal experience.
She told People magazine: “My near-death experience has taught me not to take life for granted…
“I now live my life how I want and not how others want me to…
“I told y’all this wasn’t the end of me, the new and improved Tammy is on the way.”
In addition to improvements in her health, Tammy has also seen a boost in her personal life.
In November last year she married Caleb Willingham, 39, at the rehabilitation center where they met.
