There is no emergency that is too big or too small 9-1-1‘s Station 118 needs to be dealt with, including a network change.

While the Los Angeles firefighter series made its debut on FOX in 2018, season 7 marks a new era for it 9-1-1 on his new network: ABC. However, viewers are in for the same level of excitement and heart-wrenching storylines.

9-1-1 was canceled on FOX in May 2023 after six seasons. However, it was quickly picked up by ABC for season 7.

In addition to Bassett as Athena, Krause as Bobby and Stark as Buck, Aisha Hinds (Chicken), Kenneth Choi (Chimney), Jennifer Love Hewitt (Maddy) and Ryan Guzman (Eddie) are completely ready to return. Athena’s daughter, May, played by Corine Massiahand Eddie’s son, Christopher, played by Gavin McHugh will also be part of the season 7 group.

Once the entire 118 are safely released from the hospital, Buck returns home and delivers his friend’s baby with the help of new love interest Natalia (Annelise Cepero), who is a death doula. Hen discovers that she and wife Karen (Tracie Thoms) might adopt a girl and Eddie arranges a date with Marisol (Edy Ganem).

The episode ends with Athena and Bobby finally boarding a cruise ship to celebrate their honeymoon.

What does the season 7 trailer reveal?

The Watch season 7 first showed Athena and Bobby relaxing on their honeymoon when a group of criminals hijacked the ship. When Athena and Bobby discover a bomb on board, they spring into action.

The 118 also begin figuring out how to help their colleagues after learning, “Bobby and Athena’s cruise ship may be missing.” Glimpses of a sinking cruise ship with a fire on one side play in the background as Bobby searches for Athena on board.

The teaser shows the couple almost completely underwater as they both say, “I love you.” The final shot shows Athena and Bobby holding hands as they seemingly go down with the ship.

“It’s going to go super smoothly,” Minear said TVLine in an interview on February 15, in which he teased the fictional couple’s upcoming wedding. “On Twitter you see fans saying, ‘Why can’t they be happy?’ It’s like, ‘Oh, you don’t want to see them on the show anymore, is what you’re saying?’ So it will go very smoothly. It’s going to go great.”

When does season 7 premiere?

The new season begins on ABC Thursday, March 14 at 8:00 PM ET.
