Aldi cuts price of £1.69 Lindt dupe by 30% – but you’ll have to be quick

ALDI has slashed the price of its iconic milk chocolate Lindt dupe by 30 percent, but shoppers have just a few days left to redeem.

The sale comes at the perfect time for forward-thinking shoppers looking to stock up on Easter goodies before the big day.

Aldi’s Specially Selected Chocolate Bunny (100g) has been reduced in price from £1.69 to £1.19 – meaning it is now 68 per cent cheaper than the Lindt-produced version, which weighs 125g and costs £3.75 .

The German supermarket chain said: “Dressed in the iconic, charming gold packaging, signature bow and smooth milk chocolate taste, customers can now buy this delicious Easter product in Aldi stores for £2.56 less than the Lindt equivalent.”

But those keen to secure the savings will have to take the plunge, Aldi warned, as the 50p discount expires on March 6.

Chocolate lovers can also buy Aldi’s Specially Selected Hazelnut Milk Chocolate Bunny (125g) – recently crowned “Best Chocolate Bunny” at the BBC Good Food Awards – for £1.19.

The soft milk chocolate bunny has all the flavor of the original, with a sweet, nutty twist.

Those who prefer white chocolate, or are buying something for white chocolate lovers, may be more interested in Aldi’s Specially Selected White Chocolate Rabbit (100g), also £1.19.

Or Aldi is selling “gorgeous” Lindt milk chocolate egg dupes, made by Moser Roth, for £1.99 per 150g in stores and online.

For comparison: Lindt sells a double chocolate bar of 80 grams small eggs for €1.90.

The Aldi dupe gives almost double the chocolate for just 9 cents more.

Meanwhile, fans are going crazy for “sumptuous” new hot cross buns with a heavenly chocolate twist.

Aldi shoppers cheered the Easter treat as the packs flew off the shelves and quickly sold out.

Inspired by the iconic hazelnut Nutella spread, Nutoka Hot Cross Buns, featuring milk chocolate chips sprinkled throughout, are perfect to enjoy with a cup of tea.

A pack of four costs £1.25, with each sandwich just 31p, making this a bargain.

From March 14, Aldi shoppers can pick up a new Easter toy.

The chain is Introducing Kevin the Carrot Easter themed toy with two outfits – a sheep or a bunny – for £3.99.

Shoppers can buy the adorable Kevins from the Specialbuys section of their nearest branch, but stock is limited so people will need to be quick. get it one up.
