AMIR KHAN has revealed he is back in training with a big fight on his mind – but it will NOT be against Jake Paul.
The British boxing icon retired in 2022 following his bitter loss to arch-rival Kell Brook after decades of feuding.
But the former world champion has since made a comeback and even now remains fit in the gym.
In 2023, talks emerged for Khan to meet longtime sparring partner and friend Manny Pacquiao in Saudi Arabia.
And Khan admitted this is the fight that would bring him back to the ring one more time.
He told SunSport in Riyadh: “I mean, I’m training a little bit here and there, but the thing is, the only man who can make that fight happen is Turki Alalshikh.
“I think Turki Alalshikh can make the fight between me and Manny Pacquiao happen.
“Yes, that’s a fight that would definitely give me a boost.”
Pacquiao, 45, hung up his gloves a year before Khan in 2021 after losing to Yordenis Ugas, 37.
But after a failed presidential election in the Philippines, the eight-division champion opened the door to a boxing comeback.

He even confronted Korean martial arts YouTuber DK Yoo in December 2022 and recently announced that he was out of retirement.
Pacquiao and Khan were pictured together in Saudi Arabia in October before Tyson Fury’s victory over Francis Ngannou, fueling speculation of a fight.
Khan also called out YouTuber boxer Jake Paul, who is 8-1 in the ring after just one loss to 24-year-old Tommy Fury.
But the 2004 Olympic silver medalist said even a huge payday couldn’t really motivate him to fight Paul, 27.
Khan, 37, said: “Jake Paul, I don’t think I can elevate myself for that fight. But just like a Manny Pacquiao fight, you have to be at your best.”
