Amy Schumer BLOWS ‘sociopath’ Hilaria Baldwin and targets star ‘pretending to be from Spain’

Amy Schumer takes aim at “sociopath” Hilaria Baldwin and her infamous Hispanic heritage scandal in her new Netflix special, Emergency Contact.

Schumer, 42, who famously trolled yoga teacher Baldwin, 39, in 2021 after it was revealed the latter had lied for years about her Hispanic heritage, shot the star about her “Von Trapp number of children” and fatally shot husband Alec Baldwin, 65 Rest cameraman Halyna Hutchins.

Schumer claimed she met Hilaria “years ago” backstage at SNL, where the star told her she was “from España” (with) a very thick Spanish accent.

Schumer added, “They have some von Trapp kids and they named them all — I’m not sure, but very Spanish names like Jamón, Croqueta and Flamenco.

And this would all be fine and beautiful, except that “Hilaria from España” is actually Hillary from Boston. This woman is not Hispanic in any way. Her parents are not from Spain. No one in her life is from Spain. You go, “What?!” Did you think I was just making a really racist Hispanic impression?

Oh dear: Amy Schumer has targeted ‘sociopath’ Hilaria Baldwin and her infamous Hispanic heritage scandal in her new Netflix special, Emergency Contact

“So I’m not trying to bully a sociopath. I have a point, okay? I think what happened was she went to Spain. And I was lucky enough to go to Spain. Some of you have been. It’s great, right? Don’t you love it? I loved it too. But Hillary from Boston… loved it!’

“My point is that all the evidence indicates that this woman, ever since she met her husband, has been straight up pretending to be from Spain. And her husband shot someone… find someone you like.”

It comes just weeks after Baldwin reached a settlement with the son of Halyna Hutchins – the cameraman he shot dead on the set of his film Rust.

She died when a Colt .45 pistol was accidentally loaded with a live bullet in October 2021 and shot at her by the actor.

Alec and Hilaria share seven children – Carmen, nine; Raphael, seven; Leonardo, six; Romeo, five; Mary, two; Edward, two; and Ilaria, eight months — while Baldwin also shares his eldest daughter, 27-year-old Ireland Baldwin, with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

Baldwin has consistently maintained that he never pulled the trigger on the gun, which should not have contained live ammunition at any point during production.

In April, New Mexico prosecutors dropped the involuntary manslaughter charge filed against Baldwin.

The charges were stayed after a new prosecutor reviewed evidence indicating the gun could have fired without the trigger being pulled, according to The New York Times.

Schumer poked fun at Baldwin in two Instagram posts, the first of which was shared just before the scandal broke.

Then in January 2021, she revealed that she deleted the posts because she “didn’t want to be mean.”

Schumer was caught up in the raging scandal surrounding Baldwin’s fake European background amid ongoing reports that Hilaria – whose real name is Hillary Hayward-Thomas – had lied for years about her Hispanic heritage.

Quickly deleting both posts shortly after they were shared, Schumer then shared her reason for deleting them — explaining to Entertainment Tonight that while she thought the whole scandal was “insane,” she felt bad for being “mean.” was when she realized how “upset” Baldwin was.

“I was like, ‘I don’t want to be mean,’ and she seemed like it hurt her feelings, so I just deleted it,” the I Feel Pretty star said.

“You can’t just pretend to be Spanish,” Schumer added.

In the first post, Schumer shared an image of Baldwin posing in lingerie with her child Edu, joking that it was a photo of herself and her son Gene.

After reports emerged of Baldwin’s false parentage, Schumer shared a second photo of himself with the caption, “I get it. I’ve been to Spain a few times.’

Despite later deleting the posts, Schumer said she found the whole controversy “insane and entertaining”

She also joked that Baldwin — who is the wife of Alec Baldwin — must have been “happy” about the uprising at the Capitol because it “diverted people” from the scandal.

The controversy erupted after a viral Twitter thread made allegations about how Hilaria had been misrepresenting her background for years.

The tweets, posted by an anonymous user, began with, “You have to admire Hilaria Baldwin’s dedication to her decade-long struggle posing as a Hispanic.”

It was liked 20,000 times and led to dozens of people finding examples of Baldwin with a Hispanic accent, a shocking contrast to her childhood in Boston, where she was known as Hillary and considered white by her classmates.

Several videos from Hilaria’s past TV appearances resurfaced showing her commitment to a Spanish accent, including a Today show segment where she seemingly forgot the English word for “cucumber.”

A number of Hilaria’s former classmates also came forward to confirm that she was, in fact, raised in Weston, Massachusetts, by professor parents – and had no Hispanic accent throughout her childhood and teens.

“I went to high school with her. Really sweet person, I remember, but completely white girl from Cambridge,” one wrote.

Alec defended his wife in the wake of the allegations, taking a thinly veiled swipe at her critics on Twitter in the week after the thread was first posted.

“You have to work your way through the rubble of Twitter,” he wrote. “Twitter is just a huge orchard of cr**. Things have been said lately about people I love, care about, that are ridiculous. I mean, just ridiculous.’

Hilaria has since clarified that she was born and raised in Boston’s posh Beacon Hill neighborhood, with parents (who moved to Spain in 2011) with deep roots in the United States.

Baldwin even went so far as to call her agency CAA and ¡Hola! magazine for falsely calling her Hispanic in an interview with the New York Times last month.

“Home is where my parents will be,” the Mom Brain podcaster bizarrely explained. “If my parents move to China, I’ll go to China and say, ‘I’m going home.'”

But way back in 2011, Hillary continued her fictional heritage by tweeting that she was a “Spanish yoga teacher.”

Just two months ago, Baldwin’s husband Alec told Aaron and Rohit’s Hopeless Show “my wife is from Spain” and he said the same thing on Late Show with David Letterman in 2013.
