Anant Ambani says Radhika Merchant was by his side through the worst of his health scares. The youngest heir to Mukesh Abani’s Reliance Industries talks about marrying the woman of his dreams.
New Delhi: Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will tie the knot in a lavish ceremony in India this year. Anant is the youngest heir of Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries and Radhika is the youngest daughter of Viren Merchant, founder and owner of Encore Healthcare. In an interview prior to their pre-wedding ceremony, An ant spoke about his bond with his bride and how they have stood the test of time.
Anant and Radhika his childhood sweethearts and their families were beyond thrilled when they learned of their relationship. In an interview with India Today, Anant talked about how Radhika stood by his side while he was battling health issues. He called himself lucky for marrying Radhika. Anant said, “I’m definitely lucky to have her. She is the person of my dreams. Since childhood, I thought I would never get married because I was always devoted to caring for animals. But when I met Radhika, I saw that she shared the same values as me. She has a sense of giving and nurturing for animals.”

Even my parents never made me feel sick. Even when doctors gave up certain things, they never did. Moreover, Radhika gave me strength,” he said.
Anant said that he is grateful to God for giving him a family and a partner like Radhika. He said he has learned to remain determined towards his family and to be grateful for everything he has accomplished. “They always told me not to give up and to keep fighting, especially for someone who had been struggling with health problems since childhood. There are many people in more pain than me, so I am grateful to God for everything. I never paid attention to what anyone said. Their job is to gossip, but for me, my family and their support are of utmost importance,” Anant said.
Anant and Radhika are getting married in Mumbai later this year, while their pre-wedding ceremonies have begun in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Besides their family members, the who’s who of the film fraternity will also make a dazzling appearance at these events. The speculated names include Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karan Johar.
