Musician Anderson .Paak files for divorce from his wife Jae Lin after twelve years of marriage
Anderson .Paak has filed for divorce from his wife of over a decade, Jae Lin.
According to TMZthe musician – who works with Bruno Mars – filed documents on Friday asking for the marriage to be dissolved.
The hitmaker (born Brandon Paak Anderson) and Jae Lin (born Jaylyn Chang) married in 2011 and welcomed two sons: Soul, 13, and Shine, six.
He did not include a date of separation in his file, but simply wrote “TBD” in the area provided.
However, he did express a desire for Chang and himself to share joint physical and legal custody of their sons.

The hitmaker is also keen to set up a visitation schedule for their children.
Anderson .Paak and his legal team are still in the process of dividing the former couple's assets and property.
He met Chang while they were both attending music school, where he worked as a teacher's assistant.
Before meeting Chang, Anderson .Paak had a brief first marriage to a girl he met at church during his younger years.

The Come Down singer went on to talk about the turbulent early years of his marriage to Chang, during which they became homeless after he was fired from a marijuana farm.

The artist also spoke with Hype beast and talked about why he chose to cast Soul in the upcoming feature film, which currently has no release date.
'I wanted to write a film that would explore those dynamics and those family relationships. And I also get to spend quality time with my son while shooting,” he said.
