The Tate brothers have lost their bid to recover £10million worth of assets, including 15 luxury cars, which were seized by police last year.

Andrew Tate, 37, and Tristan, 35, were today told by a judge that their belongings would not be returned to them.

The Tates were arrested on March 11 as part of the ongoing crackdown in Britain Investigation into ‘Operation Moonwalk’ who investigates allegations of rape and human trafficking.

Dozens of officers entered the brothers’ Romanian home after Bedfordshire Police received two European arrest warrants.

The disgraced brothers were brought back to court in Romania revealed they would be extradited to Britain.

Legal sources said the Tates are being confronted 21 allegations of rape and sexual assault in Great Britain, Romanian outlet Gandul reported.

The insiders alleged that some victims were drugged and sexually assaulted between 2012 and 2015.

A spokesperson for the influencers told The Sun that the brothers “categorically reject” any new charges.

According to sources, both brothers could face life in prison.

Bedfordshire Police will work with Romanian authorities as they continue their investigation into allegations that the brothers were involved in human trafficking, rape and organized crime. crime in 2012 and 2015.

The self-styled misogynists could be extradited to Britain when proceedings in Romania end.

They are still awaiting trial over a year after their arrest in December 2022 and deny all charges against them.

Andrew and Tristan had £10 million in assets, including business investments worth £84,000 and 21 Bitcoin worth around £440,000, which was seized from them in January last year.

Other seized assets include 15 luxury cars, 14 luxury watchesand 10 buildings and sites, all located in and around Bucharest, Romania.

A judge rejected the brothers’ appeal to return the assets to them in December, but the decision was January destroyed through Bucharest Court of Appeal.

They were due to be told today how much of the £10m of assets would be returned to them.

A spokesperson confirmed to The Sun that they had lost their bid to recover the assets.

The brothers’ collection of watches includes two Hublot, three Patek Philippe, one Cartier, three Audemars Piguet, one Akribos, two Rolex, one Ulysse Nardin and one Breitling.

Cars including three Porschetwo BMWtwo Ferrarione Aston Martin, one McLarenAn Lamborghiniand five Mercedes were also seized Romania‘s organized crime-fighting police unit DIICOT.

Andreas Taat and his brother Tristan have been both charged as part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.

DIICOT have been investigating the brothers since to arrest them in December 2022, when police seized several blocks of land and two luxuries houses owned by the Tate brothers in Voluntari.

One of the homes has eight bedrooms and is 424 square meters in size; the other has four bedrooms and covers 153 square meters.

ARREST TIMELINE

ANDREW and Tristan Tate are facing more charges – of rape and sexual assault, from alleged victims in Britain – and will be extradited to Britain.

It comes after the brothers were arrested in December 2022 and charged with human trafficking, rape and forming an organized crime group to sexually exploit women.

Here’s a timeline of everything that’s happened since the Tate brothers were arrested:

DECEMBER 29, 2022: The brothers, together with two women, are held in Romania for thirty days on suspicion of human trafficking, rape and forming an organized crime group.

JANUARY 3, 2023: Romanian authorities confiscate Andrew’s collection of luxury cars.

JANUARY 8, 2023: A cryptic tweet is posted to Andrew Tate’s account, stating: “The Matrix attacked me. But they misunderstand, you can’t kill an idea. Hard to kill.”

JANUARY 10, 2023: Andrew appears in court in Bucharest to appeal his detention, but the judge rules against him.

MARCH 31, 2023: The Bucharest Court of Appeal rules against a judge’s decision to extend Andrew’s detention for the fourth time; Andrew is placed under house arrest.

JUNE 20, 2023: The brothers are formally accused of human trafficking, rape and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women.

JULY 13, 2023: The Tates are filing a $5 million lawsuit against a Florida woman who they say falsely accused them of imprisoning her in Romania — leading to their arrest there on human trafficking charges.

AUGUST 4, 2023: Andrew wins an appeal to be released from house arrest in Romania while he awaits trial on human trafficking charges.

DECEMBER 11, 2023A judge has rejected the Tate brothers’ requests to recover £10 million worth of assets.

JANUARY 8, 2024: The Bucharest Court of Appeal quashes the decision; the brothers must get their property back.

MARCH 12, 2024: Both brothers are arrested in Romania over allegations of sexual aggression in Britain dating back to 2012 and 2015. They deny the charges.

MARCH 15, 2024: The brothers must appear in court to hear how much of their seized property will be returned to them. The decision is postponed until March 22.

If the Tate brothers are convicted of the crimes they are accused of and have not committed money To pay their alleged victims, their assets will be sold at auction, a judicial source previously told The Sun.

Andrew wrote on X/Twitter in January: “They stole 27 million without any evidence that we had made money illegally.

“A very smart judge threw it out. Now they have to prove to a new judge how much money we “made”. If they prove 10,000, they get to keep 10,000.

‘They won’t prove anything because it never happened. 27 million houses, cars, gold and cash, are on their way back to me.”

The Tate brothers do accused of recruiting women on social media platforms and allow them to travel to their villa on the outskirts of Bucharest.

Both men allegedly pretended to have fallen in love with the women before going to work for them company and make them perform sexual acts on webcams.

Romanian authorities said they had identified themselves six alleged victims in the case they were subjected to “acts of physical violence and mental coercion” and to “sexual exploitation”.

Andrew has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing and said he is a victim of something called The Matrix.

British extradition

The Tates were arrested on March 11 as part of Operation Moonwalk, apparently after authorities became aware of an alleged plan to flee Romania.

They visited the Bucharest Tribunal on March 15 to hear the fate of their seized assets, but a judge postponed the decision until today, March 22.

The brothers’ lawyer, Eugen Vidineac, said: “This ruling offers the brothers the opportunity to fully participate in their defense and to conduct the legal process in a transparent manner.”

He refuted claims that Andrew planned to flee the country.

Andrew Tate told reporters outside court that he and his brother were “very innocent men”.

He said: “I would like to give absolute credit to the Romanian justice system for taking the right decision today.

“We are pleased to conclude this legal process and clear our names.”

Four women in Britain threatened Andrew with a lawsuit last June, accusing him of “forcible rape, serious physical abuse and controlling and coercive behavior.”

The women said the Tates’ arrests this month on British warrants related to separate cases.

They stated: “We understand that this extradition request was made because of criminal complaints of sexual abuse of other women, and not because the complaints were filed almost a decade ago.”

The Tates were granted a 60-day extension of “judicial control” measures – which restrict their movement and ban them from leaving Romania – on March 13.
