Joey Graziadei threw Us a bit of a curveball with his last four.

The 28-year-old tennis pro sent Jen And Kelsey T. wrapping during the Monday, February 26 episode The Bachelor. Both women seemed surprised to leave, with Jenn making big moves during the group date – making out with Joey in front of the other women while he tried to film an interview. Kelsey T., meanwhile, had a successful first one-on-one last week and even came up with a nickname for our lead, referring to him as JoJo in the February 19 episode.

“I think [it started] somewhere in Spain. … It was my only pet name on the show and that’s Kelsey T.’s way, and I know people had an opinion on that and really loved it,” Joey shared exclusively We weekly of the nickname last week. “That’s what my mother called me when I was little: JoJo. So I’ve heard it before. I’ve never heard it from a girl before, but that’s Kelsey T.”

While “JoJo” said goodbye to Kelsey T. and Jenn, he will meet four families on dates in his hometown on Monday, March 4. Joey’s final four is official Daisy, Kelsey A., Mary And Rachelwith Daisy and Kelsey A. scoring their roses during one-on-one dates this week.

Keep reading for a breakdown of his connections to Daisy, Kelsey A., Maria, and Rachel:

Daisy Kent

Us dropped three reasons why Daisy could be the one to win Joey’s heart earlier this month, citing her insane Instagram reach, producers including at least one adorable moment between Joey and Daisy during each episode and her recent TikTok about trying focusing on the feelings she had when filming the show because it can be difficult to look back.

However, during this week’s episode, Daisy made it clear that she wasn’t in love with Joey yet. While he seemed disappointed when she explained that she wasn’t quite ready to drop the L-word, Joey returned to looking fondly at Daisy when she said she could be there soon.

The Bachelor seemed to pull out all the stops for Joey and Daisy this week as the pair went horse riding and ice skating And enjoying time one-on-one in a randomly placed hot tub. The Hallmark-esque music that played occasionally during their date could also be a signal that Daisy is getting the final rose.

Disney/Richard Middlesworth Ever since Daisy Kent walked out of the limo during season 28 of The Bachelor, she captured the attention of Bachelor Nation — and managed Joey Graziadei himself. During the first episode, Daisy talked about growing up on a Christmas tree farm — a sneak peek of which she brought to the Bachelor Mansion. […]

Although Daisy didn’t get any roses for group dates, she was the first name Joey called during a rose ceremony and got two one-on-one dates.

When asked about his feelings for Daisy, Joey tried to play coy. “I think everyone has seen where the feelings are at the moment, and if she continues to make progress, I think you’ll be able to see that too,” he said. “Daisy is a very sweet and kind person who I think we connected with very early on, and that’s what people have seen.”

Kelsey Anderson

Kelsey A. has become the dark horse of the season. After securing the group date at the week 2 talent show, she didn’t get a one-on-one date until week 5. However, Joey clearly enjoyed his time with her in Malta, as Kelsey A. got a coveted second. on one date this week.

While still eyeing Daisy, Joey has made it clear over the past two episodes that he has feelings for Kelsey A. — and she hasn’t hesitated to reveal that she’s officially “falling” for him. In Week 6, Joey even told Kelsey A. that he has “no doubts about us whatsoever,” which is a lot of confirmation to get from a lead. (When Jess revealed a similar sentiment in the same episode, he sent her packing.) And in Week 7, Kelsey made sure to ask Joey about his family – something we didn’t see with the other women.

Another strong point for Kelsey A. is a potential spoiler. (Consider this your warning.) While not fully substantiated, some fans are convinced that Joey and Kelsey A. posted photos with similar backgrounds on social media, possibly during a “happy couple” weekend. When asked about the speculation, Joey smiled.

“Obviously if something like that comes up, I can’t really talk about it. I know people are really trying to figure out what’s going on,” he said Us last week. “Yeah, I can’t talk to anything that’s being sent because it’s not really something I’m paying attention to.”

Maria Georgas

For lack of a better word, Maria has been on TRAVEL this season. Since the premiere, she was a contestant to watch when she stated that she wasn’t going to kiss Joey because he kissed too many other women. However, after talking to him for about 30 seconds, the pair was packing on the PDA. While it seemed like she was being set up as a villain after being accused of discounting MedinaDespite her insecurities about her age, Maria came out on top Sydney And Leah both try to pick up Madina’s fight and get Joey to turn on her.

“I couldn’t see the group settings. I think Maria can be misunderstood sometimes,” Joey said Us. “I understand that she explained that herself – that she is a bit rough and was surprised that she didn’t get along with a lot of women in the house.”

Maria went from a two-on-one with Sydney in Week 4, to getting the group date in Week 5 and scoring a one-on-one in Week 6. She then admitted that she “fell” for Joey on a way she ‘did’. don’t expect.”

Not every couple survives the reality TV curse, especially not in Bachelor Nation. However, that doesn’t change the fact that the franchise is one of the most popular reality shows on TV. When The Bachelor first debuted in 2005, even then-host Chris Harrison didn’t predict that it would result in six different spinoffs: The […]

An interesting comment about Maria’s chances is that according to @BachelorData on Instagram, there has never been a Bachelor contestant who has gone on a 2-on-1 date and won the show. However, the contestant who scored the coveted shopping date (which Maria did in week 6) ended up at the final rose ceremony multiple times. Examples include Susie Evans, Rachael Kirkconnell And Becca Kufrin. (Granted, only one of those relationships is still strong, but that’s not the point.)

Although Maria has become an unexpected fan favorite, she seemed to hurt her chances with Joey by expressing her doubts about the process in Week 7. She scored the bullseye, but the damage may have been done because her threat to leave didn’t work. wonders to Joey that she apparently thought that would be the case.

Rachel Nance

Rachel seems to be at a disadvantage because she’s had the least one-on-one time with Joey, but… Us can’t pay for her. On paper, Joey and Rachel seem to be a good match, since Rachel is from Honolulu and Joey currently lives in Kauai. Although the pair has shown chemistry on group dates (particularly on the week 2 wedding date), she hasn’t received any group date roses. (Important to note that the Bachelor season 17 winner Catherine Lowe also never got a group date and is still married to Sean.)

Rachel had her one-on-one date in week 5 and opened up to Joey about how her dedication to her job as an ICU nurse has impacted her past relationships.

Joey made it clear that he supported Rachel’s career and seemed excited when she compared him to her father. In week 7, Joey would certainly applaud Rachel when she took on the lumberjack challenge – even drinking milk despite being lactose intolerant. However, things aren’t going well for Rachel and Maria that Joey chose not to share a group date this week, suggesting that his ties to the six women who weren’t Daisy or Kelsey A. were a bit weaker.

A wild statistic from @BachelorData also puts a damper on Rachel’s chances, since historically women who get fireworks on their dates rarely win. The only exception since 2011 is Rachael, who also had the aforementioned shopping date. (In 2021, that was hard to argue Matt James even considered choosing someone else.)

The Bachelor airs on ABC Mondays at 8pm ET.
