Beyonce’s Uncle Dies at 77: Megastar’s Mom Tina Knowles Reveals Older Brother Butch, Air Force Veteran, Has Passed Away
Beyonce’s uncle Butch has passed away at the age of 77.
The 42-year-old megastar’s mother, Tina Knowles, revealed on Instagram on Sunday that her older brother, an Air Force veteran, has died.
The 70-year-old matriarch shared a black-and-white military photo of her sibling with a lengthy caption with her 4.1 million followers.
She wrote, “My beautiful big brother Butch went to be with God this weekend. I will miss him so much! He was a career Air Force man.”
It seemed that Butch was a man of much interest, as Tina revealed that in addition to having a black belt in karate, he also enjoyed riding motorcycles.

The grandmother of four described her big brother as a great storyteller as she recognized the immediate family he left behind.
Tina concluded: ‘He had a wonderful wife Jeanette and a devoted daughter Dana, two beautiful grandchildren Yvette and Roland. He was deeply loved.
