She said: “I bought my first house at 18 and then sold it at 22.”

Instead of staying in her semi-detached home, Lucy decided she had had enough of the mortgage payments and wanted to enjoy her freedom.

“Our journey out of the rat race” she added.

She and her partner decided to rent a mobile home instead so they could save money on housing.

Lucy revealed it allowed them to travel the world – something that has now become an addiction as they live full-time in a van traveling around Europe and even Mexico.

But the mobile home was not entirely to their taste – with a brown interior and an outdated floral sofa.

So the couple renovated it with the help of relatives and lived off-grid in the English countryside until they had enough savings to explore the world.

They managed to make the caravan look much more modern by giving the walls a lick of paint and replacing the old sofa with a modern corner sofa.

They also took out the kitchen and replaced it with white and black functions and a dreamy farmhouse sink.

Lucy and her partner also turned the bedroom into a beautiful modern room with beach wood wall panels.

I bought a moldy house on wheels from Facebook for just £500 – yes, it’s disgusting and outdated, but it will be ‘the dream’ thanks to bargains from B&M and Wickes

The couple, who had managed to save tons of money by leaving their home for a caravan, then went on a trip, first to Greece.

While there, the couple fell in love with the idea of traveling full-time.

Of course, they knew they could already live in a small house, so now all they had to do was buy a van that can actually travel.

Now the couple has bought a smaller van in preparation for their travels – where they plan to live while saving money on rent.

When I say I want to live in a caravan, this is what I mean.

Although the couple plans to travel for an extended period of time, they are still making sure their mobile home becomes their perfect home for when they return.

Lucy revealed that they almost completed the renovation in one go clamp.

The clips posted to her TikTok account @livingwithlucyrhaving has gone viral with over 380,000 views.

People were quick to respond to the comments praising the couple for their incredible transformation.

One person wrote: “Pure dream! And well done for having the bottle to do it.”

Another commented: “You got this!!…invested in the trip.”

“When I say I want to live in a caravan, that’s what I mean: absolutely beautiful,” wrote a third.

Meanwhile, a fourth said: “Absolutely beautiful, well done, you did a great job.”

“Omg wow that is absolutely stunning, extremely well done,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “wow you did a fantastic job. Looks beautiful.”
