Mo, who has a keen eye for interior design, if his house is anything to go by, said: “POV – This is your cue to buy the ugliest house on the street and turn it into your DREAM HOME.

“It took us five years to turn this house into a HOME, but it was worth it.”

The slideshow first showed the exterior of his house, and while it wasn’t terrible, the white PVC door and porch weren’t exactly stylish.

But Mo quickly made sure to swap the boring white PVC for a more modern black and add a pop of color with a bright orange door.

When we moved in, the dingy hallway and stairwell were renovated to bring some life into the house with an olive green staircase and a beautiful art gallery on the wall opposite the stairs.

The savvy DIY pro also swapped the navy blue downstairs bathroom for a country green and white theme with floral wallpaper.

To take the dated front room to the next level, Mo decided to add some paneling, painted a beautiful sage green color that complimented the green sofa.

The front room – with an old electric fireplace attached to the now boarded-up chimney, was stripped out and the fireplace updated with a new fire – by adding a bookcase to the left.

He had also swapped the outdated dark green bedroom for an incredible country house style room in duck egg blue and yellow.

The DIY expert also added built-in bookcases to the dining room and added a farmhouse table and chair set with rattan accessories.

The bathroom also needed a makeover with an outdated walk-in shower, 1970s tiles and carpeting.

He added some more modern white and black tiles and a new bath with overhanging shower and of course he ripped up the carpet for black and white tiles.

Finally, Mo transformed the garden of his new home.

The standard white PVC rear door was removed in favor of French patio doors.

And he added chic garden furniture to enjoy the sun – with built-in awning.

The clip has since gone viral on his TikTok account @mo.and.the.jungle.plank with over 1 million views and 210,000 likes.

People were impressed by the transformation and quickly took to the comments to praise Mo for his work.

One person wrote: “This is the most beautiful house ever! And now I want an orange front door.”

Another commented: “I love modern, vintage, farmhouse and Tuscan styles all combined into one, it’s amazing.”

“It’s so beautiful! You did such an amazing job,” wrote a third.

Meanwhile, a fourth said: “Love the garden and how you’ve added more plants/shrubs. A lot of people take that all away. Your house is beautiful.”

“You turned a house into a home,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “The taste is impeccable.”
