I wore pajamas to my wedding reception – it was the best decision, I felt so free
It’s not unheard of to choose a second wedding dress for your evening reception.
But one bride took things to a whole other level and decided to swap her dress for white silk pajamas.

She took to her TikTok page to share a post video of herself on the dance floor, after she had also exchanged her wedding heels for a pair of slippers.
Her updo and bridal makeup stayed firmly in place as she danced around, holding a glass of champagne in one hand and white sunglasses in the other.
“Yes, I wore pajamas on my wedding night… comfort always comes first,” she captioned the clip.
“When you know you’re that girl, you just have no choice but to be that girl,” the voiceover added.

She also revealed that wearing the PJs meant she could completely let loose and turn into Beyoncé on the dance floor – with her new husband, still in his suit, as Jay Z.
People were quick to comment on the video, with many admitting they would love to follow in the woman’s footsteps with their evening wear.
“This is going to be me,” one person wrote.
To which the bride replied, “Go for it girl, the best decision you can make!”
“I was planning on doing this to me – I love it!” another was delighted.
“You have to dance all night!” the woman replied.
As a third said: “I did this to me.. best decision I made all day!”
“I fucking love this,” someone else wrote.
To which the bride replied: “I was deciding between a second dress, but it just had to be pajamas!
“I’ve never felt so free!”
“I had on Elmo pajama bottoms and a bridesmaid T-shirt,” another said of their wedding.
While someone else wrote: “I love this, great idea!”
“Best decision I ever made, highly recommended,” replied the bride.
“My friend wore converse under her wedding dress instead of wedding shoes,” laughed another.
As the woman admits, “I wish I did this!”
