Britney Spears showed off her fit frame as she wore a stylish swimsuit during a relaxing pool day in a video uploaded to her Instagram page on Friday.
The 42-year-old Baby One More Time hitmaker – whose ex-husband Sam Asghari said he will ‘never talk bad’ about the pop star after their split – could be seen lounging on a lounge chair as the bright sun shined down on her.
In the caption of the post, the star compared herself to actress Katie Holmes, writing: ‘My first high-waisted swimsuit… I’m feeling very Katie Holmes today!!! Ps the sun is shining, sandwiches out!!!’
Throughout the short clip, Beyonce’s country song, Texas Hold ‘Em, played in the background.

Her blonde locks were parted to the side and flowed naturally in light waves down her shoulders.
In another part of the role, the performer also added a tan hat with pink and green striped details on top of her head.
Britney wore a beaded bracelet on her wrist and also wore a pair of fashionable sunglasses to protect her eyes from the sun.
A small water bottle was placed next to the Toxic singer on the armchair so she could stay hydrated during the day.
At one point she turned the camera away to show the picturesque view of the pool and the clear blue sky and mountains in the distance.
Her latest post comes shortly after her ex-husband, Sam Asghari, shared this People during an interview earlier last week that he will “never talk bad” about Spears.
The former couple initially tied the knot in June 2022 among other celebrity guests, such as Paris Hilton, but split when Asghari filed for divorce in August 2023.
‘It was a blessing to be able to share life with someone for a long time. And people grow apart and people move on,” the actor told the outlet — shortly before his 30th birthday, which took place on March 3.

As their marriage came to an end, Britney had taken to Instagram and admitted she was ‘a little shocked’.
However, in her memoir The Woman In Me, which was released in October 2023, she had some remarkably kind words for her ex, specifically calling him “a gift from God.”

After they first crossed paths on the set of her Slumber Part music video in 2016, Spears added that she “knew” she wanted him in her life.

Britney had also revealed how Asghari stood by her side as she fought to end her thirteen-year conservatorship.

Responding to her comments in the memoir, Sam said in October last year: “That made me smile to be honest, I’m extremely proud of her and I hope she takes over the world.”
The pop star is active on social media and recently uploaded a clip of herself dancing to Madonna’s song, La Isla Bonita, in a red bodysuit.
And late last month, she also thanked Janet Jackson “for keeping my dreams and heart alive” in a post that has since been deleted.
