I make $1000 cheese boards for customers, but I made one for $20 at Aldi

A charcuterie lover has shared a £20 cheese board she created from purchases at Aldi.

Although she has experience making $1,000 worth of cheese boards for customers, she explained that the food didn’t have to be expensive.

“Cheese boards don’t have to be expensive and this year I heard we’re making loud cuts, so I’m going to show you how to make this cheese board at Aldi for just $20,” she said.

During a trip to the supermarket chain, she picked up goat cheese, cheddar, parmesan, brie, prosciutto, pita crackers, dark sea salt chocolate, apples and raspberries.

After checking out, she revealed that her total for all ingredients was only $20.34.

At home, she cut the cheeses into cubes and began assembling her plate, stacking and layering the different cheeses.

With the prosciutto, she rolled the meat into flowers and artfully placed the pieces between the cheeses.

She filled in the last bits of space on the plate with crackers, chocolate and fruit.

The charcuterie expert does experience creating signs worth thousandsincluding one where she charged her customers $1,100 for a full table spread.

To fill an entire L-shaped table with an aesthetically pleasing yet delicious snack board to feed about 80 people, it took her 55 tries to assemble the large cheese treat.

People were impressed by her creative and budget-friendly ideas.

“I spent almost $500 on meat and cheese for a party of twelve and it didn’t even amount to 10% of this beautiful display!” said one commenter.

Others encouraged her to raise prices for her services.

“This seems way too expensive for just the food. Then get started with the beauty of that layout!” said one viewer.

“I need a breakdown of costs because you should have charged a lot more,” said another.
