Chad Michael Murray avoids questions about cheating with Sophia Bush

Chad Michael Murray dodged a direct question about it Erin Foster‘s recent allegations that he cheated on her with his ex-wife Sophia Bush early 2000s.

When asked on Monday, November 27, how Foster’s statements affected him, Murray, 42, said E! News, “I love everyone, I really do. And I’m not going to get into the “he said, she said.” It’s just not in my world. And do you know why? It’s not one of those things I want to go to because there’s just never a winner.”

Murray continued, “I feel blessed to be where I am today. I live in the now, I live in the present, I live in the future. Things have changed so dramatically for me since I was a young man that I just try to live in this space – always. So I don’t think you’ll ever see me say anything negative or hurtful about anyone. I will never. That’s just not me. I will not do it.”

The Sullivan’s crossing however, star alluded to the fact that he is not proud of anything he has done. “I have more regrets in my life than I would like to think, but I don’t live in the past,” Murray said. “I try to move forward every day and just say, ‘I have air in my lungs, life in my step, the will to move forward and the sun will rise on a beautiful morning.’”

Murray did not directly address Foster’s recent claims about his infidelity. “I mean, he definitely cheated on me [Bush] in a pretty blatant way,” Erin, 41, told her sister Sara Foster during the October 19 episode of their “World’s First Podcast” show.

Erin and Murray started dating in 2001, and he moved on to Bush, now 41, after meeting on the set of their CW series in 2003. Murray and Bush married in April 2005, but split five months later amid of rumors that Murray had an affair with house of wax Co-star Paris Hilton. The divorce was finalized in December 2006.

Although Bush has not spoken out about Foster’s claims, OTH Co-star Hilarie Burton Morgan clapped back at Foster’s claims via Instagram.

“Oof. Shrink. I got off my red-eye flight home and several people had sent me this headline. Like the person sitting in the front row at the time? This wasn’t it,” Burton Morgan, 41, began via her Instagram Stories alongside a screenshot of a news report about Foster’s allegations on Oct. 20.

Burton Morgan continued, “We were all told you guys had broken up and that’s why our guy was looking around [SIC] her. This is now being made up to make my sister look like a brazen whore. And if she’s anyone’s whore, it’s mine!”

The actress — who co-hosts the “Drama Queens” podcast with Bush — tagged Foster and wrote that she would “love to discuss the rumors with her” because she “also deserves[s] truth.”

“There are so many anonymous sources making claims about the woman I love, so f-k it,” Burton Morgan wrote. “I will be a named resource. Lotta internet voices are nasty, and as the person who knows the real timeline? It would be laughable if it wasn’t so hurtful.”

All parties have moved on and found love elsewhere. Foster was getting married Simon Tikhman in December 2020. Murray married his wife Sara Roemer in January 2015 and the couple share three children. Bos got married Grant Hughes in June 2022 before filing for divorce 13 months later. Since then, she has been linked to being a football star Ashlyn Harris.
